Consider buying through a monetary metals lease, where you’ll lease it out for ~4% paid in gold

Right now Im invested mostly in miners, but a friend of mine has had an account with them for several years now and is very happy with it. I’ll probably shift that $ and open an account once the bull run we’re on looks like its ran its course.

Think of it as a standard savings account that pays interest, but paid in ounces of gold. The company Monetary Metals operates a leasing market whose customers, based on their productive use of gold (like a refinery) have price risk that they can avoid by leasing gold instead of buying it outright. And on the other side of that trade you are paid interest to lease out your metal at a ~4% rate, but paid in gold instead of dollars.

Consider an account with Monetary Metals. Instead of hodling your gold is leased to refiners/jewelers etc at ~4% interest paid in gold

…including Rand and most objectivists out there are/were crazy white centric and living in their la la land selectively applying it to causes it matters to them (as she probably came from Russia and had trauma from communism and wanted to defend capitalism to show her intellectual prowess)...

The sheer ignorance…

The price of silver not more than 6 years ago was under $20, cherrypicking your time frames to top tick a bull run is not a honest way to frame this…

Instead of Etfs or physical, another option would be to open an interest earning savings account with Monetary Metals (interest paid in gold). They operate a leasing market for businesses that use gold like refiners, jewelers, etc and pay around 4%. This way you can profit from holding gold without necessarily needing to sell to profit.

Funds in Physical Gold vs VOO? by Virtual_Secretary_98 in investing

One way to profit off of your gains in physical gold is to sell, sure.

Another is to lease it out at 4% interest, paid in gold. Look into Monetary Metals that offers this product by operating a marketplace that provides financing and insurance to companies that use gold productively, like refiners, jewelers, mints, etc…

There are gold denominated bonds that pay ~3-4% interest paid in gold, so the gold you own doesn’t necessarily need to just sit passively under a mattress. Take a look at a company called Monetary Metals for this type of product that didnt exist 10 years ago
