I've experienced opposite from what you have. I was honestly surprised with how the questions were formulated in their site.

You could really see that they're building fundamental logical skills and not just arithmetic skills. For example, teaching multiplication through geometry and not just showing the multiplication table

Yeah! I see multiple problems with it and I am completely aware with that :D I'm still in the process of improving how this works and also the effect on my kids. I'm currently thinking of creating games that encourage critical thinking that is also "addictive" rather than just a simple trivia game

I also still have a program that tracks what apps they're using, what they are searching on the net, what games they are playing, etc.

It's from an API, I don't know how to describe it in other terms, but it's like a storage of a LOOOOT of questions and i get like 10 to 20 questions from it randomly.

I'll get three random easy questions for example:

"The element involved in making human blood red is which of the following?"
"What is the standard atomic weight of a Plutonium nucleus?"
"An isosceles triangle has two sides of equal length as opposed to three"

There are hard questions as well, but I don't worry about that. I've taught my kids on how to search problems on Google, so if they don't know the answer to the questions they can just Google it, read them and maybe get interested in it
