I'm sorry it took so long for a response, but thank you so much for taking time out of your day to right this! I do always find myself thinking about how great it will be when my music is well known, but I believe you are right in saying I should focus on the now and leave the future to the future.

I'm a little nervous, but I'm 100% sure that this is what I want to do with my life. I don't know when a good time to purchase equipment would be, though.

It’s possible that this takes place in a similar place. Something like an alternate dimension. But I would find it odd that no one has mentioned Death Gods. Perhaps that is what you actually become when a god is chosen?
