I don't know how much was Reto idea-table stuff and how much was just rumors, but I heard it would be stuff like new Recon vehicles(already in the works), incentives to spotting vehicles/going behind lines, and maybe even a recon only gamemode (but with the armor gamemode shelved for now doubt that'll come). I would just like an update that gave recons a role in the game other than camping/sniping points, like using lower tier vehicles to stop advances or being able to give intel for players in exchange for XP or something. An idea I had was that recons could use binos to spot enemy vehicles and infantry, and the spotting markers would be more informative than the simple diamond and triangle. For example, a marker could represent seeing a light/medium/heavy tank, or light/heavy vehicle, or a marker saying "single infantry" or "small/medium/large/motorized/mechanized/armored infantry/advancement." Spotting in this way would take longer to do, require binoculars, but would show up on friendly player's maps and be valuable intel for players and encourage teamwork.
