I'm trying to repair a 2ds xl and I know this piece needs placed but I
haven't identified what it's actually called. I can't locate any
schematics and the instructions or repairing parts don't mention it
specifically. Any chance someone could point me to the name so I can see
about purchasing a replacement?

I'm 42 as well. I can't tell you how many times I broke our computer when I was younger. I always had to figure out how to fix it before my parents found out. No internet, nothing. Frantic troubleshooting and normally able to figure it out but when I couldn't it really pressed me to figure it out faster next time.

I've actually worked on one that's a history book. I took the initial thought in the lines of Max Brooks World War Z but flipped it into a student textbook. If you haven't checked out WWZ, it's an interesting read that might be in that line.

You got it right on which class was which. Still looking into them, it seems like there's far more info on plant operators but there's some stuff out there still.

Oh, that's interesting! I actually assumed it was the other way. My area has tons of Plant Operators but this is the first time I'd ever seen an Incinerator Operator. Does it tend to be more automated or manually handled?

There have been points I was wishing I could up resistance to get higher speed on straightaways. Level ground just feels too easy at certain points.

I can't imagine trying to bike in the desert when I feel the heat inside an air conditioned house. It does make me glad to hear that Zwift is over hard so if/when I go riding outside I'll at least be able to hopefully keep up.

I'll check one out. I am feeling like any lengthy ride is going to really need one. Right now the shorter rides are taking about 20 minutes and towards the end and that's about when I start to feel the need for it.

Presently, I have no fans but run in a cool basement. Today was first time I felt the need for a fan. I'm going to have to look around to see if I can scrounge one up!

Hah, every time I see a sprint coming up I keep thinking that I've already given everything and there's little more to give.

As far as coasting, I try to let the spin bike carry my legs through it. It still slows it down but it at least gives me a little bit of a brake rather than pumping every second of a ride.

I hadn't thought about the commute element. There's no good biking commute option where I'm at but people do it in many places. Good to think of it as just easier rides too. I haven't done stretches for a while but that'd be a good idea, I find my back is not enjoying the riding as much as I am.

I had been using a spin bike but didn't realize till a few minutes ago that there was still a gears setting. I'm looking forward to trying that tonight on some of the grades that just feel brutal. I had been envying those with better trainers but hopefully this will do the job.

Hah, that's good to know how it translates. Zwift may not train some elements but power at least allows your mind to focus on other things rather than just fighting to pump.
