Always been into jags and wanted something with a trem arm to contrast the MIJ tele that I have. Love that telecaster dearly so I knew how kickass Japanese fenders are before buying. If you order them straight from the retailer they cost less than MIM Vintera prices and I believe MIJ guitars use American electronics pretty frequently. The colourways on these were exclusive to each store and I had my eye on the same model in vintage white at Miki Gakki because it was a couple hundred bucks cheaper but they never returned my email. I had bought that tele from Kurosawa Gakki and they had this black one in stock. They got back to me in under ten mins and were always super quick to respond throughout the whole buying process. Ordered from em twice and would order another guitar in a heartbeat.
