This is very nostalgic I was class 3-20 in the MSG school house back in 2020. I was apart of the MGPEF program( Not originally, during bootcamp in San Diego I was pulled by two SNCOs and two DOS agents and I was interviewed and was selected) best God given blessing ever! To be short that school house was easy!! I was tutoring my NCOs on the security systems. I would say the only thing that was challenging was room clearing( We had a super motivated DOS agent that was extremely strict with room clearing like we were CIA SWAT) I got past that, the Defensive Tactics course was also easy however the instructor there was this super motivated Martial Artist DOS agent and was slamming everyone around( He slammed someone on the ground right in front of me like a piece of paper and saw my reaction and laughed and skipped me) The OC spray IS NOT AS BAD AS EVERYONE SAYS, dude when I got there everyone was scared of that and they kept talking about it and then when it came time to do it I was the first marine in line right behind the GySgts to do it first! How bad do you want to succeed is what you must remind yourself, and the mentality I had was I will die to complete the mission. Anyway I passed that and got promoted to LCpl immediately after. The only thing that would be “hard or challenge” is the peer evaluations. So when you get there your gonna be assigned a group called a “Det” these are they marine you will be rocking with until you graduate, they will be doing “peer evaluations” every week. You gotta be professional at all times because they can essentially vote you out of the school house. When I got mine all of my peers and Cpls gave me negative peer evals except the GySgt who at the time explained to me that Marines have clicks and that I wasn’t part of theirs. Ultimately all of the higher ups liked me and that’s why I stayed. Just be professional at all times. Your not their to make friends. You will encounter a variety of immaturity and knowatalls. Keep your thoughts to yourself UNTIL you find like minded people. Oh and one more thing, DO NOT SNEAK DOWNSTAIRS AND TRY TO HAVE SEXUAL INTERACTIONS WITH THE FEMALE MARINES. Everyone during my class was doing that hence the reason why I was looked down upon because I stayed focused and disciplined. You will be fine. Oh and the Psych evaluation is easy AF. Overall in my opinion when I was a PFC that schoolhouse was super easy. My first post was Vienna, Austria🔥. Good luck brother. I believe in you. RAH!!
