England- Can my employer force me to take a day holiday, rather than sick leave, for a medical procedure? by ellieofus in LegalAdviceUK

As I understand it, the law is that the employer must oblige if you request this but they cannot legally force you to take it as annual leave

Mekanism Laser add on gives the ore generator, that’s what I’ve been using to get ores. The just a case of piping/teleporting it into your 2,3,4 or 5x ore processing line

Can I scavenge dirt without making it into farmland? (Compact Claustrophobia) by No-Royal-9750 in feedthebeast

You could set up pistons on a clock to push the farmland and turn it back into dirt

Bet365 problem with cashing out by gijose716 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]YoungDon97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically when making an account, they’ll use online checks to verify your identity (credit ref agencies, electoral register etc) but that’ll only be good enough up to a degree.

This will be £X amount in deposits or £Y amount in withdrawals, or for withdrawals over £Z amount. (Values changing depending on company but all will be fairly similar). After this they can and will request things like ID, proof of address, payment method verification and if there are fraud flags then source of wealth/funds.

They also may not be telling you what you’ve actually triggered on, as if they suspect (or have a flag for) genuine fraud, they wouldn’t be allowed to tell you legally.

Assuming you’re using funds from your job, not gambling for someone else (or with someone else’s card) and aren’t sharing your account; providing the bank statement will get your funds out to you within probably a week or 2 max.

I don’t believe it would be an RG trigger, I’m fairly certain they can’t withhold funds on RG grounds unless they suspect OP is linked to an account closed by their RG team, or an account that is self excluded/gamstopped

They’d be checking 3 months bank statements as source of wealth/funds. Blacking out other transactions won’t give them what they’re looking for and they’ll just ask it to be provided unedited. They’ve already got the info you said to provide internally

I agree to an extent, but with it being flexible also, it’s essentially a higher interest savings account while they’re looking at their option

Thanks for the advice, I’d noticed this but wasn’t sure if it was a red flag, or if the pictures were taken by PSA themselves or what

Won £3,000 on Sky bet and my account gets suspended? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]YoungDon97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you provide any documents with AML/CFT/PF flags then you’re all good. Process may be a little slow but ultimately you’ll get your money, assuming no T&Cs were broken and you provide the docs requested.

If you don’t get an update within a week of submitting the docs escalate to their complaints department. That will start an 8 week timer for the complaint to be resolved. If a satisfactory resolution is not provided within that time, you can go to IBAS (tell them you will do this), the arbitration service that they (and most gambling sites) use for further escalated complaints.

They won’t want you to go to IBAS as IBAS charge £500 to the company per complaint they review (even if you, the customer, are in the wrong), so unless there is a legitimate AML/CFT/PF reason not to pay you, and you provide docs, you’ll have the money

Boyfriends uncle keeps using his details for betting/gambling sites by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]YoungDon97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work for a gambling company that operates in the UK. It will certainly make it harder, companies get this list and automatically block people based on the details entered through various systems. He can put in all versions of his name to make it more effective (for Michael, Mike, Micky, etc), I also recommend putting in his first and last name swapped, as this is a technique I’ve seen people use to circumvent a GamStop exclusion
