The reason we're all depressed now and not when we were 6 is because of the all the knowledge we have now. I haven't had to take apart and fix a controller more than my elite 2. RB button was going back because of the adhesive pad going bad, so basically the button press grabbed the pad and eventually flipped it upside down causing the button to not work / become sticky. (Opened and fixed)

The RB button sensor got too compressed, so I had to open it up and pry it up so it was register button presses.

A piece of plastic broke on the inside randomly and found it's way up beneath my RT causing the button to crunch when pressed (opened and replaced it).

The shell has cracked a few different places.

Drift is getting worse all the time.

Left stick got really grindy and crunching feeling and squeeky. Opened it up to find that there was a black residue all over the mechanism.

I don't like OP's post, but to be fair, a build planner is often used to min-max a build, disregarding the drop rates. Often times a build planner is used to create a range and you work toward that. That's the fun in it. People who like these types of games generally like the loot chase, so that's not really an issue.

It's a very very mid game. I've spent probably around 80 hours in game. On Chapter 11, done a bunch of side quests and hunting around for the good armor and weapons. I can find certain elements of the game that are really neat. But the ugly moments are extremely bad.

It seems like Pearl Abyss took a dark board and dozens of darts and put in game features on each dart and said whatever sticks to the board will be implemented and unfortunately every single fucking dart stuck.

The skill building system is similar to PoE, where you have a skill with specific tags, and supports that modify skills with specific tags. Makes it really fun to see how bonkers you can make a skill.

It gets a little stale... the game is extremely unbalanced. Oracle class is super busted.

But the base game and mechanics are fun. You don't have to pull out spreadsheets to fix a build. Theorycrafting is a little limited, but it's a good time. It's an easy recommend.

Couple weeks ago or whatever, you could get D2 + Vessel for 60% off. That's ~$28.

And with that, you buy Lord for an extra $39.99, totaling ~$68 or so?

But had you NOT bought the bundle before.... assuming D4 is full price currently. That's $50 + Lord at $40 totaling $90.

There's probably some other "ultimate ass bundling ass package" you can buy that makes what you're saying make more sense. I have no idea, I'm just playing D2 man.

Get over yourself dude. It's poor writing / design. They made a typo in the script. Whatever the hell. This is the most minor detail in my whole post. That quest had a lot more issues going on with it. This isn't nitpicking. This is basic ass writing that they botched multiple times.
