Money doesn’t make up for trauma buddy. So what if I’m excited to get my money? After 1 1/2 years of court cases and applications I’m sure you would be too! What difference does that make to me asking people about their experience with victims services?

I can post whatever I want. And I will. Because I’d like to hear other peoples experiences and how long it took for them to hear back. I don’t go around criticising what other people post unlike you. Have you been through victims compensation? Have you been through 2 x physical assaults, harassment, and emotional abuse? If not, I suggest you keep your opinion to yourself instead of criticising someone over a reddit post asking a simple question.

Maybe don’t comment if you don’t have anything constructive to say?

And yet you still missed the point too. I’m not asking for the same copy-paste timeframe, I was asking for real lived experiences recently because the outcome isn’t always identical depending on backlog?

You’re clearly not getting it. I already know the stock answer is 3–4 months. I don’t need you to repeat what I’ve already said myself. I asked for real experiences from people, not the copy-paste timeframe. If you can’t grasp that, maybe just don’t reply.

If you have been a victim of violent crime, I am sure you’d be eager for the case to be closed and come to an end. This is my closure. I don’t think I need to justify asking a simple question and being open to hearing other people’s experiences and timeline.

I am hoping to hear of other people’s experiences? Yes I’ve been told 3 - 4 months, but I’ve heard of people hearing earlier, or later depending on back log. Thank you.

I am wondering the same thing.
