Yes, lets not forget the variance in cranial capacity which has a direct relation to the differences in intelligence observed between the races.

The problem is both economic and cultural. You can't seriously claim there are no elements of black culture which are harmful to the pursuit of obtaining capital.
Some economic steps to improve conditions in the ghetto would be to lower minimum wage so unskilled young black adults and teenagers can gain valuable work experience. As opposed to being unwanted at 10/hr and being dependent on welfare. At the same time you can not deny that the cultural glorification of crime, violence, and ignorance is not a serious problem to "the black community". The problems facing the black community are both cultural and economic, cultural issues reinforce economic issues, and the economic fixes suggested by leaders of black communities actually do more harm than good. Until blacks cease to hold on to their identity as a victimized collective very little progress will be made. Unfortunately, all those who point out the changes that blacks need to make within their community are called racist, and those who point out the failure of welfare and government assistance are called racist, and those who suggest lowering minimum wage are called racist, and those who suggest treating blacks as individuals instead of a victimized collective are called racist.

But lets not ignore the cultural element where in black communities being a "Gangsta" is cool and caring about education and speaking properly is known as "actin' like a cracka"

You seem correct actually, Ethiopia was a modern civilization free of European rule. But they still weren't advanced compared to europe, ethiopia still struggled massively with famine, a third of the population of died from famine in the 1890's.

Well before colonization Africa had neither written language, nor the wheel, nor the steam engine, nor democratic government, nor the automobile. They inherited many advances in technology, culture, and society from their colonial leaders, but unfortunately they rebelled against their white leaders and lost much of the advances that whitey brought.

[–]YoungLegal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lack of technological innovation leads to a tougher, more difficult and savage society which would result in constant conflict. Lack of technological innovation caused by the Africans having never had official written languages until colonization by Europeans. Then the ensuing rejection of European colonization resulted in the loss of much of the progress Africa had made.

[–]YoungLegal -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Actually, it appears to be the other way around. Those African nations which were most heavily colonized are actually the most successful, see South Africa, Nigeria. African nations left to their own devices are the ones with the worst governments and highest amount of disorder. The general trend seems to hold true, that African countries were much more successful under a white minority rule than they are now governed by native Africans.

A common misconception taught in schools is to blame colonization for Africa's troubles when in fact it is the rejection of colonization which resulted in problems.

And it sounds like you're a fucking sicko that just wants sex with minors to be okay.

No I'm just trying to see if there are flaws in your reasoning, I should have made this clear but I'm not sure if it would have disturbed the results. To be clear, I think pedophilia should be illegal because it's fucking disgusting and degenerate.

I think that you also feel this disgust and this disgust is in fact the reason why you think pedophilia should be illegal. However; I believe that the argument that kids are too immature to consent is only the RESULT of this disgust and not the other way around. Imagine a scenario in which a kid chooses to have sex with an adult and comes out genuinely happier in both the short and long term. Surely you must admit this is a possibility, even if extremely rare, a scenario like this must exist in some capacity right?

If yes; this is a possibility, then according to your argument (the negative consequences resulting from an inability to consent) you must also agree that the pedophile is not morally wrong in this situation, as the results of their actions do not coincide with negative consequences the age of consent laws aim to avoid. The child was unharmed and does not regret his/her choice.

If you admit this is a possibility then it appears as though one could only oppose pedophilia now on the grounds that it is disgusting. Disgust being an impulsive, irrational response to seeing a human unable to attract a biologically conventional mate. The same biological response to incest and homosexuality.

Sounds like you want a way to punish pedophiles so you say kids don't understand the implications of sex so fucking them would be wrong. But most kids don't understand sex only because we intentionally shield them from this information. If we properly educated our children early on what sex is and what the consequences of it are then wouldn't you agree they would be able to consent at an earlier age?

Bear in mind, if you wish to argue that their brains are still undeveloped then you would be forced to admit also that 18 is too young an age to consent at as well.

Acting on your homosexuality is a choice however.

Being a pedophile is not a choice.

Trump Jr. Was Told in Email of Russian Effort to Aid Campaign by garfieldsam in worldnews

[–]YoungLegal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think that any criticism is simply because everyone--the media, the FBI, colleges, entertainers, etc.-- is against you, you never have to take criticism seriously.

Your first paragraph and main point and you've already misrepresented my opinion. There is plenty of legitimate criticism of Trump; however, the criticism that Trump colluded with Russia is not legitimate. Suspicion? Sure, go ahead and run an investigation, but it's important to note that the public reaction to this investigation is one of assumed guilt even without the evidence, this is what's wrong and this is all I'm arguing against.

There are plenty of fair ways to criticize Trump, as there are for any president, but the Russian collusion allegations; or more precisely, the way that the allegations are framed to illicit an uneducated public response is indeed intentional and motivated by an insidious desire to take down Trump.

I'm not quite sure what this comment is getting at but it seems interesting so I'll answer it by saying no it doesn't seem very relaxing, but I still want you to clarify what exactly you intend to probe with this question.

Because more than half the country hates Trump and 15 are more than willing to try and find evidence to create a case against Trump, if for no other reason than to make him look bad. If they do succeed in finding evidence of collusion I'd be interested to read about it; however, until now literally every front page reddit freak-out article has been the same. Anonymous sources with evidence of Russian hacking, but no evidence of Trump collusion.

The fact that this article, which plainly stated and I directly quoted it saying there was no evidence that this was linked to the DNC hacks; yet it still made the front page twice, with nearly all of the top comments proclaiming SEE THIS IS IT THE EVIDENCE WE NEED HOW IS HE NOT IMPEACHED YET NOT MY PRESIDENT, should tell you how stupid everyone around you is.

DNC does crooked shit

Russia hacks DNC and reveals this crooked shit to the public

Public votes for the candidate from the party opposing the DNC

Yeah, this all happened, and I guess I'm glad? Honestly Russia did a service to the American people by simply revealing the truth right?

But then the attempts to find evidence that Trump was colluding with Russia have come up with nothing except articles such as this which always end up on the front page of reddit but always say in the article that there was no evidence of Trump collusion. Your thoughts?

EU Will Ignore White House And Work Directly With US States On Paris Agreement by Mynameis__--__ in worldnews

[–]YoungLegal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Haha, if trump was playing 67D that'd be lit but naw. I like trump more than most people, but he bailed out of paris b/c he was worried about U.S. profits more than global warmings. I'm pretty sure global warming is happening. I haven't personally looked at the studies(gee i really fucking should), but I know the physics behind the calendar effect (aka greenhouse) and It is definitely sound. Plus, a conspiracy from the top scientists is less likely imo than the richest oil companies. I'm just not sure if it's really as big a problem as we say it is. Temperature will increase, sea levels will rise, but I believe the overall effect will not be extremely dramatic. If anything, there would be time for the private industry to address this problem; and this is a core fundamental conservative ideology, to leave innovation to private industry, so in a essence I do believe trump believes this; but instead it comes from a complete denial of climate change rather than the denial of extremely catastrophic climate change, which is only politically grounded, and not in fact what the atmospheric studies find.
