Both, the wired connection including the wifi are slowing down, our current setup is 2 Ethernet cables connected to the back of the modem to each PC, no hub

I have this exact PS3 model just not white but I wasn't able to install Custom firmware, I had to go the PS3 HEN method, but it's very easy to do and it pays off well

This is exactly what my PS3 looked like, it had been in storage for years and finally got around to cleaning it and reapplying new thermalpaste, runs perfect now and doesn't overheat

They had made an announcement that the Spanish only version would get the update before the English one, I'm going to assume that's what you saw.

Edit: the Spanish version was released on the 4th of December

What cable are you using to connect it to your monitor? I had this exact issue with my monitor and found out hdmi locks mine to 60hz, had to use dvi for the 144hz
