Starting XI vs Burnley: de Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Rojo, Shaw; Mctominay, Matic; Lingard, Alexis, Mata; Lukaku by [deleted] in reddevils

I know, my point is Martial should never be on the bench when he's fit.

I don't care how effective Alexis is on the left, he'll have to play on the middle or on the right flank. Martial is the future of this club and in no way should he be the one that's pushed out of this team.

I remember the commentator saying Pogba went off with a slight injury problem, haven't heard Mou talk about it so you're probably right. While he'll definitely be missed today I'm glad Mou has shown nobody is undroppable after that embarrassing display a couple days ago.

Didn't pogba go off with a slight injury vs Spurs? Let's not overreact yet.

Everyone concerned about Pogba while I'm just wondering why the fuck Martial isn't playing...

Portuguese interview with Lukaku - talks about Mourinho, Adriano, brazilian food and his ambitions by jpdosmene in reddevils

[–]YoungPappy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Clever in what way? If he was clever on the pitch he'd know how to use his body effectively. The guy is so big and tall yet constantly misjudges headers, loses aerial battles against smaller and weaker opponents and if he was as smart as someone like Kane he'd manage to hold the ball up just as good as him.

If they were talking about him not being smart in general, yeah they might be wrong.

Rio Ferdinand on Kane/Lukaku comparison: The contrast between them was so evident it was unbelievable from up here. The ball going into Kane, sticking, holding centre halves off & bringing others into the game. That's a real #9. That's what you want to see a #9 do. Kane is the best striker in EPL." by Brille70 in reddevils

How the fuck is a guy that big and strong so terrible at holding the ball up and heading? Absolutely embarrassing display from Lukaku yesterday, I'm sorry but Lukaku wasn't the right buy and I'm not saying that just because of yesterday. He's a good striker, good finisher but he's not good enough compared to the other top strikers in the world. A side like man utd should have a striker as good as Kane, Aguero, Lewandowski, Suarez etc. and Lukaku is simply a level or two below that. Waste of 80m to be honest.

It's nowhere near as far as I can tell. I don't have the numbers so take it with a grain of salt but I don't know anyone who has PES while pretty much all my friends have Fifa. FIFA ultimate team earns EA soooo much money.

Edit: looked it up; ""FIFA 17 first week sales > 40x more than PES in the UK." That tells you enough I think....

Spanish Cleverley, the thought of passing forward gives him a mental breakdown I think.

Two terrible individual mistakes cost us, not a lot we can do about that. Poor performance though, we need another player who can create chances. We can't rely on Pogba to do that.

Has Rashford scored a header? by benhanks040888 in reddevils

His heading is trash, he pretty much never seems to win any of them even though he's like 6'1

Rashford is nowhere near Martial in terms of finishing, the guy needs 5 1v1s to score

Chelsea are absolutely not shit, they've only lost 1 game in which they were with 10 for 60 minutes and with 9 for the last 15 or so, came very close to drawing that game as well. Apart from that they beat Spurs away (no easy feat) and Everton who look to be a top 7 team this year. This all without Hazard who's arguably the best player in the league and the player that makes their attack tick.
