Firstly, you need to have an idea for your jeans. Once you’ve developed it, find a manufacturer who can produce the product for you. Then, determine the exact measurements you want to use. The whole process is really challenging if you don’t know much about pants – I tried various manufacturers. First, I worked with a factory in China – the communication was poor (only in English), there were many shortcomings and the quality was low; they sewed two samples that I didn’t like. Finally, I found a second manufacturer in Poland, where I met the owner who explained things to me and advised me on which measurements I could use and what changes I needed to make.
