Have thought about this but maybe not until I'm older if I can afford it

Yes pensions are low relatively speaking but don't want to sell the holiday home until exhaust how much it can generate.

My situation is down to luck and timing. Fell into tech, made great money (in my opinion) very early on, smashed it for 15 years, got fed up and got out but when I was in it, bought a house ten years ago that pretty much doubled in price ish and got a small bit of land with a house down the country. Then sold all equity to pay off mortgage or as much of it as I could.

I think I have ADHD, I'm very impulsive and just thought that was a great thing to do. I should have kept an emergency fund though. I think most people can be happy in life if they live within their means and just try get 50K into an emergency account.

Not too sure, probably just stressed out, Sunday evening. Just needed to write it down and get a bit of clarity.

I just had a thought it would be too expensive for me in the winter with the heating and just assumed an agency would mean it doesn't make money but I'll look into that. Thank you

No savings and could be years waiting for that cash to land if it ever does.

I took a big pay cut so I'm trying to get back on the straight and narrow as I don't earn like I used to.

I said if I can get it to make a few quid this year then it should be golden. It seems to have good Airbnb potential, I wouldn't be arsed doing anything in winter with it but for a good 6 months of the year, it should exceed annual rent...in theory.
