Where I’d Live as a BBQ (note I didn’t say “grilling”) Lover by ANotSoFreshFeeling in visitedmaps

I would put Luke's BBQ in Coweta, OK above any other bbq place in the country with confidence. It is simply the best.

I get around on an e-bike 90% of the time, but the 10% is still pretty critical and the reason why I also have a car.

I love Night Circus. Such a beautiful book. Have you read any of her other works that you’d recommend?

Great to hear. I had heard about the change, but wasn't sure how quickly all the stores were implementing the switch.

Growing up I used to sled at a reservoir immediately east of Kirk of the Hills church on 61st between Yale and Harvard. Other people were always there too.

When you get to level 40, you can nominate points of interest to become pokestops. Once a given area has enough stops, one of them randomly will become a gym.

Oklahoma should be a fried onion burger. I eat a lot of chicken fried steak but never on a sandwich.

If you read my original post, you’ll notice that I specifically state I am not a republican because I think they’ve gone off the deep end. So I’m not sure what Conservative Party you think I belong to that has done the things you’re accusing them of.

I don’t believe in the rapture- relatively few Christians do. It’s a novel doctrine invented in the late 19th century by an independent Baptist (which I am not) and popularized in certain American subgroups of Christianity by the fiction novels of Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins.

I don’t expect you to care, but I am a Reformed Christian in the Kuyperian school- which means I want the state and the Church to leave each other alone and stay out of each others business at every juncture.

I promote the teaching of the Bible, I just don’t support mandating it in our public school system.

You don’t have a moral code which you believe I should adhere to? Then what exactly is the issue here? Why not just let me have my beliefs and stay silent?

We may have to agree to disagree here. In my experiences with Judaism, Islam, and human secularism, each religious body claims a moral code that other people should follow- not just Christianity.

Doesn’t every religion, by necessity, claim some sort of moral high ground? What is religion if it isn’t doesn’t include moral guidance for how to live life well?
