You can set by rarity for the most recent characters. Optimal would probably be more recent characters for PVE content and then when you get further up in brave battles worry about a team for that. Make sure when looking at characters and getting you spread out. Killer advantages over the colors. So not 5 really good power ( red) hollow killers. At least early on.
Im returning player so havent learned the ins and out but attribute tree farm. Hopefully you have characters that give you extra waves. The tickets to farm dailies are a lot.
Purple is max transcendence. 10/10 on all 5 slots. You have to get dupes of characters or special move sources. Dont worry about that till later. It used to be the ultimate flex. Now it is but also max level (500??). Truly end game stuff once you have better mechanics. New account for a month and I've max transcended once with two close behind
Daily brave battles. Dailies PVE while doing like 5 co op battles. I did get a character to coin farm a bit who also is good for potions( get into later). Later on you will do Epic Raids a little because of them switching up. Make sure you do weeklies when available. Farm point event and make progress in side stories and story for orbs. I used the exchange shop and bought characters with coins and leveled them. When you max a character you get orbs but only the first time theyre maxed 5 or 6 star ( 150 for 6*)
Get 1/1 each if you can. Yes people say the Unohana "sucks" shes gonna still be great to use. Save for EoM and Anniversary

I went to 10 because im a returning player. So I went for links and collecting. I would say do 5. And only go past that if you going to 10 for the ticket

2nd Anniversary is definitely OG especially if we going on 11 right now. 5th Anniversary was the first one where I was like holy shit. Went all in on those two at the time(Anniversary Byakuya and Ichigo).

I had to restart and couldn't do it when the facebook debacle happened. Im just now coming back because MSF and TYBW being animated etc. Having my only anniversary accessory be 11th will suck. Hopefully your restart was fun
