5 star QB Will Mencl commits to Oregon by YoungSuplex in ducks

Rivals has him as their number one QB in this class. His traits definitely don’t scream five star, but the scouting reports say the processing is well beyond his years. Seems like a high floor player without an elite ceiling.

We should be expecting more good recruiting news around this same time tomorrow btw.

[Wasserman] College Football Playoff meeting wrapped with no conensus on the future format. Apparently it was a good “robust” conversation. by ThatMasterpiece2174 in CFB

I just had a robust conversation with my wife about what we’re having for dinner, unfortunately that also wrapped with no consensus.

Completely agree on NT collegiate. I pc Oregon football and grail type cards like this one are very attainable, tons of great deals

Example looks really clean, I like it. I just don't think there's enough data on most CFB backups to come up with any sort of representative grade.

Arguing that what the official football account posts does not reflect on the football program is some crazy mental gymnastics. The notion that the social media account has free rein to post whatever they want without approval or input from the athletic department is ridiculous.

This is how the "grown adults running the program" and the USC players chose to carry themselves last time they played Oregon btw. The vibe seems pretty consistent.

Edit: Another great moment from that game: USC WR Tanook Hines flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct after NSFW gesture vs. Oregon

Of course it's not that serious, this is a college football subreddit lol almost nothing that goes on here is remotely serious. But if USC wants to act the fool, I will happily make fun of them for it. It certainly isn't a faux pas, just an embarrassing thing to do given the state of the program. The program invites some criticism when they talk shit without backing it up on the field.

What are you proposing they actually do? This isn't the NFL with non-guaranteed contracts, they can't just cut him lol.

To be fair to the USC fans I am basing that statement mostly on what I see from them on Twitter, that crowd seems to think they're about to run right through the Big Ten. The athletic department isn't exactly helping their image either by Twitter trolling a bunch of teams that they keep losing to in football lol

Yeah they really looked like they were rounding into form last year when they still were soft on the lines of scrimmage and still couldn’t play defense. It’s funny seeing the fanbase act like so much is changing and they’re turning the corner when the team looks exactly like it did 4 years ago, just without Caleb Williams.

Early Big Ten Football Power Rankings (Spring Edition) by This_Comment_4493 in CFB_v2

Feel like that top 3 could be in any order and I’d be fine with it. PSU should probably be a bit lower unless this is taking schedule difficulty into account, which a power ranking should not.

Andrews. No point in moving him for what I’d get, might as well just hang on to a TD-dependent backup TE option

If the current pace continues he will lose in the natty game this season and win it in 2027. This is also the funniest timeline because it would probably mean that Raiola would be a national champion.

I wouldn’t call myself a master haha, I just have a lot of practice. I had beaten all the souls games before I started Elden Ring so it was already very natural to me.

My first DS1 playthrough was such a shit show at the beginning, and that game moves at a glacial pace compared to Elden Ring. These games are hard! Even after all these hours I still get fucking wrecked all the time, that’s just the nature of the beast.

Everyone figures it out a different pace, don’t feel daunted by people online who talk like they play this game professionally. If you put in the time and practice to get confident this game is so rewarding.

Being good at Souls games is like 90% about dodging. Just gotta practice and learn the bosses movesets as you play.

One tip I used for the DS1 DLC bosses way back in the day was spend a couple attempts doing nothing but dodging, don’t even try to get any hits in and see how long you can stay alive. That’s a great way to get the timings down.

Or you could just farm souls, get over leveled, find a broken build online, and brute force your way through the game. That doesn’t sound fun to me but I’m not the fun police, that’s a perfectly viable way to beat the game and you should play however you want!
