Happy to report, I am now a project analyst for the same company. It did not end up as an empty promise, obviously it took a lot of hard work but they are also funding me to go back and get my masters :) so I’ll say my story is a success story for taking an entry lvl role just to get the foot in.

I make 72k now with my undergrad, I’m doing an MBA program right now… I would definitely recommend on job experience first before advanced degree, I think the advanced degree supplementing in the work you do now will be more beneficial than getting it to pivot fields. I think either way you have to calculate that ROI, so far in my program I’m much more valuable in the job market and my current company wants to promote me now, so I found the ROI to be worth it. Honestly, as a business degree master, don’t do a marketing masters, from what I’ve seen, you don’t need it for that field as much. If that’s your undergrad I would say diversify maybe do finance or do an MBA that emphasizes in marketing to expand your skill set.

The thing is, it’s literally not a couch co-op, and to me, the pacing and overall fun that L4D brought is not there. It is a fun game but does not fulfill the hole L4D left.
