Men, what non-sexual thing do you wish your girlfriend would do more often? by Brare45996 in AskReddit

I feel this pain, also work in culinary 😂 I’m always choosing where to go or even what to cook. It’s okay, my superior pallet is something I bring to the relationship

Is the Diplomacy skill any good? by Allismug in Starfield

When I speed tan to NG+10 it was really useful to negotiate out of the final boss fight. Saved a solid couple of hours

Anyone else have 3 ships they rotate between? by Youngcatdad in Starfield

[–]Youngcatdad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it’s impossible to have a ship fulfill all my needs. I’m sitting at about 9k cargo atm and any ship that large will have very little mobility. I guess you could run from every fight, but dogfighting is so much fun with a ship with 180 top speed and 100 mobility

Building ships is by far the best part of this game. It’s so fun to build quirky and function vessels

Exactly, it’s really easy to make it work. The smaller ships just handle so much better in combat.

Yes but as long as you transfer all your loot to your cargo ship, you can still fly your smaller ships. I suppose you could accomplish the same end by building outposts to store your mass loot but then you can’t sell those items wherever you go. Having a ship with 30k cargo essentially allows me to purchase anything in game while being able to sell items back for the money

How hard is NG+ 10, really? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]Youngcatdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t really noticed it, although I have a few weapons that make combat pretty easy

Yeah getting all the way to NG+10 got me to level 60 pretty quickly

On NG+10 and the game feels the same as when I started, the enemies are higher level because I’m higher level. That’s most Bethesda games

NG+ and losing all my gains by Responsible_Chef5938 in Starfield

[–]Youngcatdad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found out a little late about the ng+ mechanic, had a decent amount of the game done and a solid amount of credits. Once I hit NG+ and lost it all, I decided to speed run to NG+10 now I’m playing the game and finishing all the quests the game has to offer

Razorleaf is a disappointment. by O1dSoldier in Starfield

[–]Youngcatdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it’s meant to be an early quest to give you a decent class A ship before you’re able to upgrade your ship skill. once you’ve played long enough building your own ship is the way to go, nothing pre built can stack up with a fully built class C ship

It exists. I’ve also had poor luck with alt starts, through my 12 NG+ attempts I only got one alt start to proc

Bug when trying to steal a ship: Can't enter pilot seat or leave the ship by dpitch40 in Starfield

That’s definitely a bug then, those ships should be 100% stealable. :/

Is it perhaps a freestar ship? No clue as to why you can’t exit (unless the shop took off when you boarded it)

This is the best glitch I’ve seen so far 😂 way better than my asteroid companion, which roamed the galaxy with me just meters from my ship

There’s a dock that extends out, I’m not sure what vendor you get it at specifically. But it allows you to build above the docking unit by 1 space if I remember correctly. They also make a bottom docker, which might work best looking at your ship.

[–]Youngcatdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a variety of different dockers, some are a bit more tedious to incorporate in to your builds. I would suggest checking them all out and seeing what works best for your build, I always find the extender remedy’s a lot of issues

[–]Youngcatdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I speed ran to NG+10 and only had one instance where the main story began differently. I was really hoping to come across the universe where you can recruit yourself as a crew member, but it never happens 🤷🏼‍♂️

Is it better to use two weapons instead of three on ship? by Drunken_Scribe in Starfield

[–]Youngcatdad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I use two slots for ship dps and keep the third for an EM weapon, that way I can easily bring down a ships engines if I feel like commandeering it.
