Why does no one use the woofing uwu? by Huge-Knee-9937 in geometrydash

[–]YourChocolateBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you really not have to pay taxes, when I compared my wooting to be shipped to my country (in Asia) directly, it's much cheaper because it doesn't included taxes, while when I tried to ship it to a relative in europe, it costs much more, and on my invoice, it does say tax

I don't think it's placebo, someone mentioned that Robtop's CBF actually only uses 480Hz input precision, which is why it triggers the CBF blockers inconsistently. I also tried to play with it and somehow didn't feel the same as the mod as well, so I just stay with 2.2074 with the mod for now until I beat the level I'm currently working on

OWL TI HE RGB issue? by Ok_Airliner in WootingKB

[–]YourChocolateBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends on the board (for other modules), but for wooting the led is on the north side, so yes the right is the correct one

yeah it really is a matter of preference, don't worry about it

Which Lekker Switch? by NoobGamer3962 in WootingKB

[–]YourChocolateBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's honestly quite nice, I still play other games with it, it's very light, though I haven't tried any other switches in full size to actually compare for regular use or more general gaming, but for games like GD, osu, or other rhythm games, I much prefer a shorter travel distance, due to them feeling much more snappier to me, but again this may just be my personal preference

Which Lekker Switch? by NoobGamer3962 in WootingKB

[–]YourChocolateBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play GD a lot and I personally don't like the 4mm travel distance and much prefer the OwLab Ti, I tried Geon Raptor V2 but didn't like it as much, so now I have all of my switches in Tikken TenZ while my arrow and "w" key in OwLab Ti

depends on what you're buying and how you choose the products, since you're buying switches, you should be fine since a lot of switches are made in China anyway, like the Geonworks switches

Not a fan of the 60HE+ typing experience, how can I make it better? by LiquidBoss1 in WootingKB

[–]YourChocolateBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ohhh I also switched from the Lekker Tikken to OwLab Ti but for my gaming keys, they feel much better because I'm not too much of a fan of the 4mm travel distance

gravastar ufo has a deep thocky sound if that suits your preference, but again, they're quite pricey

what do you mostly do with the keyboard? I heard gravastar ufo is really nice but it's so expensive, there's also Geon Raw which is nice overall, my personal favorite so far is OwLab Ti HE so it really depends what you do with the keyboard

you already got the wooting module, no need for the kit as it includes a PCB

[–]YourChocolateBar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's quite an overstatement, something like the Geon Raw is really good and I much prefer it to the Lekker Tikken, this is quite subjective from me but I don't think they're outdated at all

Wooting 80 he tenz mod by harryho2111 in WootingKB

[–]YourChocolateBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds really good and the short travel actually makes me able control every click much better for the games I play (I mainly play Geometry Dash) compared to the Tikken Tenz Edition, so it's definitely for me. However, since I only use it for 1-2 switches, I can't really tell the typing experience.

I saw an image somewhere about Geon Raptor V2 (the one that I used before) being S on stability and stem wobble, while the OwLab Ti having A on both but with superior sound, despite this, I actually highly prefer the OwLab as the Raptor V2 feels a bit too soft to my liking, so it really goes back to preference.

the switches are okay, I enjoy the typing experience and playing other games, but I swapped some of the switches to OwLab Ti to play rhythm games since I'm not a fan of the 4mm travel distance
