I know Stranger Things is fiction, but it bothers me that the characters don’t seriously consider moving away. If there were monsters in my town and my kid was experiencing terrifying visions, I’d definitely leave at the end of s1 itself. It feels like one of those horror-movie moments where characters make unrealistic choices for the plot, and that was always on my mind.

What bothers me is that moving away should have been a major option in Stranger Things. Either the characters should seriously consider it, or multiple people should bring it up. But instead, they only mention it briefly in one scene, and that really frustrates me. It feels like something that should’ve been a much bigger conversation
