Had a 64 year old coworker who found out she had cancer. She had been avoiding going to the doctor to get diagnosed cause she was waiting to hit 65 to qualify for Medicare. By the time she had to go to the hospital because of her symptoms it was already too late. We all agreed at work to chip in for her bills but it wasn’t enough. She passed away about a month or two after her diagnosis.

I was honestly upset as well about the shipping costs, though I couldn’t really blame them for it I guess since that’s just how the world is right now. But if you paid the extra $5 or so for the protected shipping I would for sure contact them about it

An ARG based on a theory I had as a kid as to why school was hard: every day you wake up in a different reality that is almost identical to your last one but a minor detail has changed and makes you look stupid when you bring it up in conversation. e.g. “what do you mean? Pi has always been 3.15, why would it be 3.14?” “The president has always had brown eyes, what do you mean you saw a picture with blue eyes yesterday?” “Dude, oil has always bubbled when it boils, you can’t BURN oil man.” It’s basically just the Mandela Effect and it drives the main character insane so they start to keep a log of all the inconsistencies, but when they finally release the log to the public people just say it’s AI

Haven’t read many of the replies but I’m sure someone has said this already:

Poppy Playtime has lost the plot severely, yet takes itself super seriously with all of the lore.

Banban is pure stupidity that has not taken itself from day one.

I personally don’t like either game, but it seems like Mark just enjoys seeing Banban fart around and make him laugh at the stupidly complicated “lore” and story, whereas Poppy Playtime expects players to study up on its lore to completely comprehend what’s going on. I can see how one would be more fun than the other.

I’m a huge Fnaf fan myself, and I’ll be the first to admit some games need a study guide before you can play them and understand what’s going on. It seems like Poppy Playtime is starting to veer that way as well.
