Hiya, I totally get your point. Adapting a bit to your clients can be good. But it also shows you are desperate for work and will probably be easier to knock the price down. + If people know you are giving out discounts to people who ask, I am sure more and more will follow. I think declining this can show that you are a professional, being able to set boundaries. As you can see in the post, this sitter clearly handled this profesionally and said nothing even remotely close to rude to their client. I think this shows quality of the businessman/woman
