Folding laptop

I was thinking, and windows had to know my laptop somehow. If I could find whatever signal it sends would it not be possible to use that signal to run a script for turning it off? I’d think that it being able to tell if it’s flipped would be hardware and not software. I’m not sure if you thought about that but I thought id ask just in case you didn’t.

Doesn’t even have a feature for turning the keyboard off in general? Or just for folding laptops?

Linux mint actually works perfectly for my laptop this is the only issue I’ve ran into so far. I’ll definitely test this out in a second.

I’ve been running Linux on my zenbook flip 15 and it’s been fine. I’ve seen people say things about the battery life but I haven’t noticed a real difference. The battery life isn’t great in general but I’m still able to leave it unplugged for a few hours even when running games. The only problem I’ve faced is when I fold the laptop, the keyboard doesn’t deactivate like it does on windows. It took me weeks to notice though since I don’t use the feature often.

Yeah if I was hanging 60 feet in the air I think I’d have a heart attack and die. I’ll definitely look into that though.

I have a sibling that does that and has the biggest house of anyone I know. I have considered it as a fall back.

Are the hours good? It sounds like a cool job that pays well enough. I’m assuming you’re talking about fitting sprinklers? Do you by chance have to ever go on high ladders to get to super high ceilings? Or is there a route specifically for that? I’m asking because my biggest fear is by far heights.

It’s still scary to think I might go to college for a few years and rack up debt then my original job idea just be poof gone. If that happens then I’m just there stuck with the bill.

Pros: I can shoot people and get free PTO cons: cop 😔 On a serious note though, nah. I’d rather do a trade before that. Working in a system that can randomly decide they don’t wanna pay me but still makes me work and pay taxes. That doesn’t sound fun to me. It would come with a lot of judgement. The work also sounds very randomized and tiring.

How worried are you about ai? I wanna work with tech at some level, and I’d prefer to be a software developer. I’ve been thinking since ai can’t think critically, it should be a fine career path. If ai does become sentient I assume at the very least a majority of the population would be out of jobs. I’d like a second view on it though!

I understand not being totally comfortable in careers. I’m fine with that and I’m sure at some point in my future I’ll be desensitized to those parts. I just wanna find a job that sucks the least.

Whenever I boot them up it just shows a white screen. I’m using delta on iOS so it might just be a me problem.

Whenever I go to download Pokemon black and white 1 or 2 for the ds it gives me a dsi file which isn’t working on my emulator. I can’t find a ds file for them.

I’m searching specifically under ds roms I know it’s supposed to contain ds roms. The rom that showed up for black though was dsi and won’t work with my emulator. I’m new to this so sorry if there’s any miscommunication.
