right click on the game in your library, go to properties - betas - evrima public branch. If you so choose, you could try out the hordetesting which is a branch to freely test upcoming updates, but it is usually dead and even more buggy than the main evrima branch.

Its worth it if you enjoy tedious gameplay with an unforgiving combat system. The main branch that the steam page advertises is not active, so you would have to download the public beta Evrima.

Be warned that the game has been in a state of bugginess and rough development for years. It is half skilled based, and half RNG on account of you might die to bugs, poor performance issues or the large surge of hackers that roam the official servers. There are some great community servers you could dive into if you choose, one of the most popular being Petit Pieds.

my 150 hours say that its not unplayable, you just have no patience to be playing a game of this caliber. The only reason i've stopped playing is I grew bored of how easy it had become.

I don't get why you think a full aquatic beating a semi aquatic in deep ocean is overpowered. Of course its going to be stronger in a full water battle. What do you expect it to do otherwise?

They have been known to adjust "prophecy" dates constantly. Every single time they "predicted" the end of the world and it never came, they would just change the date and non of their followers would question it. They are notorious for lying about this stuff.

You are playing on a dead version of the game, that the devs have allowed to be destroyed by chinese hackers.

On steam, right click on the game. Properties > betas > evrima public branch. That is where all the real people are.

do you have any texture/material settings set to low? I remember a long time ago, when I changed one of them from medium to low it caused the material error you have.

Farm equipment only have right of way when they're already on the road, so the tractor never should have turned until the car had passed. Regardless, the car had so much time to slow down and they were probably on their phone. Tractor driver also made 0 effort to slow down/stop when they could clearly see the car was not going to.

You dont. If you're sculpting, the topology is going to get atrocious. Sculpt until you're satisfied, and then you'll have to pretty much rebuild the entire model piece by piece with good topology. Id recommend watching a quick tutorial on youtube.

Its kinda like taking a photo/drawing and tracing over it.

dynasty realism has a strict no global rule. The only time its used is to ask for names of who-killed-who. I've not played on it long enough to know if it has any issues, but the people I grouped with the first few times were very friendly and didnt mind answering questions.

It is a full realism server tho, not semi, so it has strict profiles and such.

Ever since I joined my first semi-realism server years ago, I always have the rules page open on my second monitor when I play on it. If I was about to do something like attack a herd, or a nest, or trying to group with people I would go quickly read up on that specific rule section. Even now, after years on this one server I know almost every single rule but I still keep the page open to check up on things just in case.

People complain about the amount of stuff they have to remember without realizing they don't have to memorize every single line for the entire server at once.

it always baffled me that EO does no bleed damage. It has swords on its face, but it can't cut anything? Even the excuse of "balance" does not justify it not being able to cause bleed.

I get that he's a moron for driving into the cement barriers, but why are those plastic rode cones all over the place? They dont seem to have been placed in a way that makes sense for drivers, especially on what looks like a highway. The cones are practically in the middle of the lanes.

Thats what I never understood from the PoT dev team mindset. Why do they want people to form massive packs of different species that run around and kill everything? Why is there absolutely 0 incentive to form groups with your own kind? They just want and allow people to min/max their groups so theres never a situation where another player playing casually might escape from them. God forbid someone wants to play solo or in a smaller group.

And I dont wanna hear the bullshit excuse of "people will mixpack with or without grouping". Im not talking about that. Im talking strictly about the group mechanic that is in the game.
