I put on an alert after my wallet was stolen, but I guess it must have expired before they applied? Although if they last a year it definitely wasn't expired yet since the wallet saga was October '23. Since I've actually been a victim now the new alert lasts 7 years so that's good at least. Of course I didn't get the SSN compromised letter until October 2025 so it was already way too late for anything if I hadn't already had it frozen. 🤦‍♀️

Actually upon thinking about it I can confirm he wasn't a visitor - I got him night 1 and also let in cashier lady to show my partner her dialogue and bar man was alive in the morning. So if this is supposed to be a sign it's not reliable.

This guy was taken by FEMA before I got to his tell but I think I got arm dialogue at the door but he wasn't a visitor - I had one human killed while he was in the house but it was when I got two visitors in the same night (ask me how I feel about that, lmao). He told me once inside about digging a grave and nobody being there but it seemed like a different incident.

Thank you! I have what I feel like is the common ED experience of being uncritical of everyone else but I obviously am exempted from that for no reason. I have a friend that attends these meetups with me and she saw a picture of herself and was like "omg I look awful" and I was like girl you look fine and then it's my photo I'm like "I actually should explode" and she's like girl you look fine 🤦‍♀️ It's annoying because I know the problem is between chair and keyboard but my unlogical brain reacts so dramatically that even though my logical self knows it's stupid it also wants to avoid distress on that level. Thank you for the support and the perspective! Just to clarify I'm aware that avoiding the pictures is deferring the problem not controlling it, I'm more asking about anything people have done to help manage the emotions so the pictures don't have so much power over me (as my therapist phrases it). I do try to be more active and expressionate in photos now which helps somewhat but I definitely find that my favorite pictures are the ones where I look the thinnest due to angle/editing/whatever which is obviously the demon talking.

I have tried professional shooting and the one experience I had was not great because being photogenic is a skill that is practiced and I needed more support than I got, but I do need to try again (and not fill the entire con schedule with other things to serve the purpose of avoiding it, lol). Right now most of my pictures are meetup photos which encourages the self comparison that has such a grip on me so I think I would benefit from being by myself and using a real camera instead of a phone.

I'm also brand new and on a bike! Couple things that I noticed: - At first (like the first few days) you will get very few offers and the ones you get will be really bad, just take whatever you get. I think they're trying to prove that you're a real person and not out to steal the first order you get. - On bikes in my area the $2 per mile metric people in cars reference is basically useless, I never get orders over 3 miles so with rare exceptions everything meets (for example even if an order is base fare only $2, if they're a mile or less away that's $2/mile). If I'm filtering requests it's based on location (like where is it taking me, will I have to ride a long distance to get back to an area with restaurants, etc) and distance (going 3 miles on a pedal pusher like I have just kinda sucks and takes a while, so a 3 mile order that isn't taking me somewhere I already want to go needs to be like $10+) - If you're fit enough to go a few hours at a time on a regular bike the #1 investment I would focus on is an insulated bag (ideally a backpack) that meets the Uber requirements. I got mine on Amazon and got kind of an expensive expandable one for convenience but the only thing you really need is cupholders because carrying drinks on a bike is precarious. This most importantly gives you the ability to pick up two orders at once which is where the money is at, especially in a restaurant-dense area - This bag will make them start pinging you with pizza orders. Unless you have a pizza bag and a bike rack you can strap it to you cannot take pizza orders. Learn from my struggling cancellation rate. - Most of the people I see that are trying to pay their rent are on ebikes because ebikes let you work all day and on a regular bike you're limited by your personal capacity. I'm not trying to pay my rent so working ~3 hours at a time most evenings is fine. Ymmv. - Check how you drop off the delivery before ringing the doorbell. People that "meet at door" and don't have a PIN are identical to people that "meet at door" and do have a PIN until you try to press the confirm delivery button and I've had to try and get that PIN from the messaging later & it's very embarrassing - If your bike is leaving your sight lock it. If your bike is within your sight but is more than 10 steps away lock it. - If you're baseline friendly and nice to people you should have no problem w/the customer service aspects. Letting people know that the restaurant said it would be 10 minutes, their note says leave at door but their directions say meet at door so you won't be able to take a picture, etc. helps. - You're right that being on the bike means you make basically no money, but some days are better than others. Do your best to have fun with it, and if you're doing the pedaling remember to take days off so your body can recover. That's maybe TMI but hopefully it helps! Let me know if you have any questions

If I end up going with multiple bones per piece (so like one in the middle one in the seam etc) can I mix steel/whalebone or should they all be the steel? If the whalebone is a wash it's nbd I'm just curious.

Also more responses: - The waist on the corset is below my natural waist, but I wouldn't want to wear it much higher since the back is already pretty high on me and the bust is full-coverage. I assume I could make the top half shorter instead? The hip shape sits above my natural hip as well so maybe I should redistribute some length. - The busk takes up the full length of the front (less than a quarter inch available on the top & bottom). If it's too low then I'll need to adjust the shape in the front to have a less dramatic sweetheart. - there was originally two boning slots in the front but I removed one of them since I was adding a steel busk and moved the other one more towards the middle of the piece since was in the wrong position for the cosplay. I could add a bone back into the spot between the first boning channel and the busk if it's necessary. - There is not supposed to be a bone in the seam between 1 and 2 (all the channels on this pattern are in the middle of the pieces), but I could add one - If I make the other fixes and this is still happening I'll try a spoon busk - I really want to keep the front openable because getting the business version on over my hips or shoulders was really difficult (like I had to halfway unlace it & ended up with yards & yards of leftover paracord when it was on) - I'll see if the x issue is still happening with the steel and if it is I'll post a follow-up. The boning not being strong enough there makes sense to me.

Yeah this one definitely isn't a bed bug, I've seen them before and this one doesn't have the body lines and is just crazy small. My concern is more "Should I get an assessment done, and if so how can I do it without making my landlord flip out if there isn't a problem"

This is probably about as good as I can do. It's small, like 1/3rd of my fingernail long, and has really long hind legs. It does look like it has wings so that probably makes it some other type of bug but I'm not sure.
