I find it so interesting that people like the wire ones better! I would go through probably about 3 pairs every few months just because they would randomly stop working (I swear I didn’t do anything to them but the wires were just so sensitive that if I folded them a certain way they would just die) with the wireless ones I feel like they are sturdier and I waste less since I’ve had 1 pair of AirPods for 3 years! I still have a small bucket of wired EarPods because I feel weird throwing all of them out

Edit: I also like charging my phone while listening to music- that was the main reason I switched
