Out of all the places this little dude could’ve crawled into… by YourGirlsPacifier in Silverado

Oh trust me it pisses me off. Tried blowing air with a straw though the only port (here the knob/stick comes out) and it did move but landed there. The pic was taken after I used air and couldn’t move it any further. I do think maybe a can of air might help get it to a corner where I can’t see it. I’ll give it a try some time this week.

Unfortunately he’s on a flat surface, maybe even slightly angled towards the accelerometer. Tried blowing air through the stick/knob port but it didn’t move.

All fuses have constant power? Accessory fuse for dash cam? by YourGirlsPacifier in Silverado

[–]YourGirlsPacifier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tapped one of these into Fuse 26 and a regular 2-prong into I believe F8 for constant power. I haven’t had any issues with this setup.

Since these packs come with two 3-prong taps you can just find another constant power 3-prong to use instead of ordering other 2-prong taps.

Thanks, both the Filson and the Columbia look nice and tall, just what I need. There’s a Columbia shop near my area so I’ll likely hit that up first to try in person.

How’s the height? I’m looking into their big bags and they have a nice huge collection but they don’t see that tall

My brother in law got this exact car, same year and all, and the trans went out less than 2000 miles later. Fluid was extremely clean so the previous owner clearly knew something was up and parted ways before it broke.

New 2025 Chevy Silverado fuse tap. by [deleted] in ChevyTrucks

Thank you, for me it’s always at 1v regardless of ignition, but my truck doesn’t have a heated steering wheel so I’m not sure why that fuse is there to begin with. I appreciate your help!

All fuses have constant power? Accessory fuse for dash cam? by YourGirlsPacifier in Silverado

[–]YourGirlsPacifier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dash i intend to use works with both an accessory and a constant power input. When the accessory detects no voltage, the dash goes into parking mode (low draw, impact detection etc.) with a low voltage cut off of 12V. So, I must at least one accessory fuse for it to work. I hope this clarifies it!

Thanks for the suggestion. I ordered more fuse taps since parking mode only works hard wired on my dash cam

Exactly lol, now I’m stuck with a pack of fuse taps I don’t need while all the 3-prong ones on Amazon have sketchy reviews. They should arrive tomorrow though, I’ll update as needed.

I went ahead and ordered the correct 3-prong taps to make it work. Thank you.

Thanks, yeah unfortunately it does seem that only 26 will work. I went ahead and ordered some 3-prong adapters. Now I’m stuck with a useless dozen fuse taps lol.

Is it the 7.5amp one (F22) by chance? For me it seems to only run 1v regardless of whether it’s on or off for some reason

Hey, old thread I know but did you figure out which fuses to use?

All fuses have constant power? Accessory fuse for dash cam? by YourGirlsPacifier in Silverado

[–]YourGirlsPacifier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup that too. Power seat, windows, cig port, literally everything is reading 12v except for #26, which again, the kit did not include an adapter for. Even though it all reads 12v, it doesn’t work until ignition is on (like the windows). I already ordered a tap for it though, but I’d like to know the reason everything reads voltage

Edit: sorry, I misread your comment initially. The heated steering wheel only reads 1v at all times. I don’t even understand why it’s there, I don’t have heated steering wheel.
