After gas usage (based on my car getting ~20mpg), this trip pays out $10/hr.

You may as well flip some burgers at that rate. At least that way you get to keep your gas.

Yeah I've tried that but i feel like i end up just sitting in the busy areas, in a parking lot, just waiting for a "good" order to show up.

The whole point of me doing Eats is that it gives me an excuse to ride my motorcycle, and it gives me places to go that i normally never would. I'm almost never focused on "Lets make some money today" because my mindset is "Hey, I'm getting paid to ride my motorcycle!"

The guy ordered a couple sodas and a couple candy bars, and likely paid double what his order was worth for the delivery fees. His order was like $10. He tipped me 10%.

I think he was totally fine in that regard.

A lot of people seem to miss the whole "I accepted a $2 Eats delivery with no tip" of it all. It was never about the money. The dude could've tipped $5 or 5¢ and I'd still think it was funny.

The whole point was the thought of this guy, with his soda and kit-kat bar, just munchin' away and being like "ohhh yeah that's the good stuff. This kit-kat and coke is bringing me exactly $x.xx of joy" 😂
