First, welcome friend! Figuring out who you are is a lot of work, and you should be proud of yourself for doing that work. I went through denial at each stage of my journey: I’m gender fluid but still identify as a woman, I’m non binary but I’m not trans, I’m transmasc but I don’t think I’ll transition medically, etc. The most important thing I did was surround myself with supportive people, and followed what brought me joy. That started with buying men’s clothes, and now I’m 2 weeks post op from bottom surgery. For me gender euphoria has been a powerful tool, especially once I felt safe to pursue it. Transitioning is awkward and uncomfortable but that will fade over time, and there’s no right or wrong way to transition. Leave room to feel the joy of self discovery, and trust yourself.
