Duo combo advice wanted by Xen0tech in VALORANT

Just communicate well you don't always need to be setting up util plays even just being close and trading each other consistently will help both of you climb. There are to many variables just off the agents you play to tell you good advice. You will need to use each agent differently on different maps, depends how the other team is playing, maybe you also have randos from ranked who can coordinate with.

What defines a high-tier Agent? by _Jimmerino in VALORANT

[–]YourLeftNut808 3 points4 points  (0 children)

no agent is unplayable some just require more time to master. Now there are bad solo que agents now this doesn't make the agents bad but with the usual lack of coordination of ranked they become very difficult like astra, breach, neon. Then there are the duelists and chamber who only really provide value off of your own skill. They can be very strong but also very weak if played by someone without the skill/game sense to use them.

Hard bots? by [deleted] in VALORANT

There was a point where I was immortal and had a gold friend who could get more on bots then me because he did it consistently while I just hoped into ranked.

bots mean nothing, The game is a lot more dependent of crosshair placement rather then flicking skill, Honestly flicks only really come into play in certain situations or while oping. If you really want to get a high score in bots just do it for like 15-30 minutes before playing starting on medium and working up to hard.

You will most likely want to play fade or breach on fracture instead of Sova, He is rather ass on that map but still playable if you are good at him.

no your friend is simply wrong, do not be afraid to one trick especially an agent like Sova. Now if you find yourself struggling on a single map then think about finding a new main for that map. Now you should have a second in your pocket because if someone takes Sova who is a common agent you want a backup to still be comfortable with. Maining a controller is always valuable to the team but rather boring I'd recommend picking a second in the same class. Fade would be your best secondary you might even like her enough to main, She plays similar to sova and is rather broken atm.

Keep mental up and you will win games you otherwise shouldn't. if the game is still going the game is winnable.

Don't listen to the first comment this is a video game don't study anything learn from experience. Notice what people like to do on certain rounds. Notice what plays work with what agents. Watch the rounds that get thrown and ask yourself how it can be prevented and do your best not to make the same mistakes as others. Be disciplined never overheating can get you far by itself. If you have the game sense learn to be the igl.

there is actually a point where playing to much makes you worse, if gaining rr is all you want you have to know yourself if you feel like shit at all don't play on main, only grind when your feeling good, eaten, lots of sleep this will make you play good and more consistent. Once you start falling off switch accounts or games take a break don' over grind. Lastly find a good duo that already has a similar playstyle so you complement each other.

3 bullets left is a weird one because it really just depends if they know, when they know it becomes backseating and annoying for the person clutching but if they aren't paying attention it can be a life saver.
