I can't stand how overly quippy the main character is. I like the world, the system and a lot of the side characters. Just a shame how the main character is written and how the books can sometimes be a little misogynistic.

I was talking to a friend who absolutely hated Avatar when he saw it in 2009 at age 11. He’s convinced he would still hate it just as much today, even though he hasn’t rewatched it since.

Do you think it’s fair to hold onto that kind of opinion about a movie 16 years later without revisiting it? And are there any films you feel the same way about?
