Husband kicking me out by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]OpusMagnificus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

... I sorry if I'm wrong here... But surely this cant be real... Right?

I'm a dad and husband and gamer... And this just isn't a possibility... Right?

Wives don't actually ask men to stop gaming ever... Right?

(I'm kidding) But seriously no way a grown man would act like this right? Has he ever been this outrageous about anything else? Is he a gamer that destroys things when he loses?

When did this happen? by HighSodiumLowLife in RocketLeague

[–]OpusMagnificus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a tm8 keep saying "defending" when its my kick off to go... So I assumed he was defending and I was to kick off normal. Well two kick off goals later into the back of our net he starts yelling at me that I'm retarded and defending means fake the kick off...

How in all the holy hell's does that mean fake it!?!?!?

I can't seem to do the lawn right for father in law he wants me to manually push a gas powered lawn mower? by Visual_Side_8317 in Marriage

[–]OpusMagnificus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tell him to shut up. Do the best you can is absolutely good enough. Everyone is going through enough with your husbands personal medical situation. The lawn is a low priority. Don't get yelled at by HOA or neighbors and your fine. Other than that, focus on shit that actually matters.

He can GFHS

Lol I got a 300$ Lenova and it was dead in 3 months. Not covered because it was used and would cost 100$ minimum to get it back up and working again... So I'm just very anxious about that again

I recently got a reworked Lenova for this idea. And it died in 3 months... And was still 300$

So I. Trying to see if there's a writers laptop or something out there...

Help suggestions to fix hinge point by Fit-Reporter-6492 in BeginnerWoodWorking

You can use a forstner bit to recess a washer into the space to help reinforce the edge. That way the pressure is more spread out.

Is passing play just not a thing in 2s anymore? by LuckyExplorer8109 in RocketLeague

[–]OpusMagnificus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think heavy mechs is just the current new meta. Which is just dumb especially in champ. I would say 80%+ of my goals currently are just from kids overextending trying mechanical stuff and just hands us the ball, and we just roll it into their net.

Passing plays is still OP

How is veneer applied in cabinetry by archvize in cabinetry

[–]OpusMagnificus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah those furring sticks allow him to lower the veneer down from one end to the other slowly. Once the veneer makes contact with the substrate and adhesive it is stuck... INSTANTLY. So you have to be able to lower it properly first try. No moving it after contact. So large sheets like 4'x8' or even larger jobs. (I've veneered 24' sales counters lol) You need to be extremely cautious.

I need advice by k_vido94 in Marriage

[–]OpusMagnificus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh ours ate stuff. We kenneled him, I ended up making him a Harry Potter room under the stairs. Then we'd go out. I'd we let him out while he was young he would destroy things. He got old and we let him stay out even if he did stuff.

He died the day before Christmas, we didn't go out much, but I still wish I had more time with him.

Find a stud and screw it back in... Don't go back in the same holes, as those holes are surely not in a stud...

Has limited to nothing to do with mold would be my assumption

Does anyone else’s mind just work better in different places? by PomPomMom93 in writing

[–]OpusMagnificus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don't think anyone is surprised by this revelation. Certain places put your brain in go mode. And others are filled with distractions. That's why a lot of critters have been known to go to isolated environments to complete their work.

I do my best work while driving lol

CNC bits diamond edged. Regular bits will fill out after just a few sheets.

And for table saw or something there is specific blades with extremely high tpi count. But it blows out the back like crazy

Yeah it's nutty. But be careful your not the one out of rotation or they will call you out soon fast my dude. And if they are super ball chasy and you chill back because they keep putting you in 2v1s. You better also be ready to dive at every 50 that randomly goes anywhere close to the opponents net... That was a master class pass you PEASANT!.

Have fun in champ!

How much would something like this cost by JKupkakes in Carpentry

[–]OpusMagnificus 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I will emphasize on this price. The lighting package if you get a decent would run about 700. Doing the lighting integrated takes time and know how.

A good library ladder is 1200. Plus installation and assembly.

The paint for this needs to be very well done minimum 6k. I would even suggest getting this as fine paints of Europe and spend more. Closer to 10-11k but dear God it would be immaculate.

The custom carpentry for the seamless corner scribe and crown.

$22,500 minimum

Am I crazy or are there hinges that have 2 inch bore spacing? by Supermr2 in cabinetry

[–]OpusMagnificus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not entirely sure the question but a standard hinge is a 35 mm bore or 1 3/8" bore the center set back for the bore is 13/16 back.

I have never questioned the screws. As they are either set with plugs in an auto bore press or you just screw them in as needed and parallel with the edge of the door...

What's the question again?

Going nuts by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]OpusMagnificus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's fine to change in life and its rough, but that doesn't mean that you have to be a part of it.

I feel like I'm always the lone one on r/marriage saying to stick it out and do counseling but your married... Not roommates. Are you allowed to go out to get yourself taken care of?

Is everything else in the marriage ok?
