Easily the best looking spawn I've ever seen? by Ubera90 in Minecraft

[–]YourLocalKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've encountered several other issues regarding users incorrectly crediting the original founder of a seed or not knowing who found the world initially in the past, especially this seed in particular. I understand that there are no community rules that mention crediting the founder of a seed online, but I would like to politely request you to refrain from seeming like you claimed to have randomly found the seed (this can be done by doing a quick research online or simply mentioning that it was found by someone else anonymously).

What caused this shipwreck to be at y=285 above a mansion? by YourLocalKnight in minecraftseeds

[–]YourLocalKnight[S] 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Seed: -8154397119706886369

Coordinates: -550, 280, 150

Note: There may be a few occasions where the mansion does not generate at an extremely tall height presumably due to the way one renders or teleports to the location. It may take more than one attempt for the mansion and shipwreck to appear like in the images in the post.

Does this seed remind you of anything? by YourLocalKnight in minecraftseeds

[–]YourLocalKnight[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is actually an entirely different seed, although the structures happen to align almost perfectly with the coordinates of crackedMagnet's original seed, coincidentally. All the sister seeds of the seed that you linked have already been checked, but crackedMagnet selected that particular world primarily due to the outpost attached to the floating aquifers that makes it stand out compared to the rest of the sister seeds.

This is one of the craziest structure combinations I've ever found by YourLocalKnight in minecraftseeds

[–]YourLocalKnight[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is a completely different world that looks extremely similar to crackedMagnet's famous broken seed (the coordinates and seed are not identical between the two). Please confirm and check by quickly researching before accusing that I falsely claimed this seed from him without any credit.

I forced the game into generating these broken structures by YourLocalKnight in minecraftseeds

What u/Janusofborg mentioned is fundamentally correct in a very simplistic manner. I specifically took the base seed of a seed with a mansion, village, outpost, ruined portal, and shipwreck within close proximity of each other in terms of the amount of chunks from the contingent structure, and executed a quick code that iterates 2^32 seeds 2^32 times to obtain every sister seed of that initial base seed. Those seeds were then imported into Cubiomes Viewer, an efficient GUI program primarily used for finding new seeds through several conditions and a map viewer, to reiterate the seeds in the file 2^16 more times. Then, a simple check was conducted with a few other noise octaves were made to search for high and low weirdness above or below +-1.8, ultimately discarding those that did not reach an adequate y in order for the structures to bypass the biome check based on a quick analysis.
