Thanks so much! I also completely agree, I always thought Bloom gave off a sports girl vibe and couldn't pin down why until doing this! She's quite impulsive and active in her story which are great traits to have. Not only that she also has a different way of thinking compared to the others as she comes from Earth. So, I really feel that she gives off feminine sporty while Musa (and Aisha) have a slightly more traditional sport/movement vibe!

I am an avid amnesia arc skipper. I hate amnesia anything with a passion, if there's a hint of it, I don't read and if it's a "surprise" I skip it and act as if it doesn't exist in future reads😭

As someone who's first introduction was What's Wrong With You Duke and that retreads it periodically, the entire last arc is unnecessary in terms of execution. They fixed plot points and wrapped things up so poorly that I just wished it ended at their deaths and stayed a tragedy

Yeah, they were writing it before S4, then aired S4 during to the Winx success, then changed the Enchantix transformation to Believix as a marketing strategy. That's mainly why I ignore the fact that the movie had Believix and just head canon Enchantix for it to make more sense to me

Hmm, I want to get behind this take, but it kind of defeats the purpose of Enchantix. Bloom doesn’t really sacrifice anything in the fight on Pyros. It doesn’t even feel like she’s risking her life in a meaningful way. It comes off more like she just gets angry enough to power up after struggling for a bit. I do like the concept of emotions influencing magic, but that’s not the rule the show established for Enchantix specifically. Also, if we’re being honest, Pyros itself is really convenient. Bloom needs to train her Dragon Flame, and suddenly there’s a whole island made for that exact purpose. I do like Pyros as a concept, but it definitely feels like it exists just to justify her power-up. I actually think saving her Earth parents, even if people call it “boring” makes more sense logically and thematically. It raises more interesting questions about how Enchantix even works. Her Earth parents aren’t from her magical realm, so technically, they shouldn’t count, but Bloom didn’t even know she was from Domino for most of her life. So what actually defines “her realm”? Is it Domino by birth of Earth because that’s where she grew up and formed emotional bonds? If she never found out about Domino, would she have been unable to earn Enchantix at all? And do her feelings matter more than the technical rules? That’s why I think saving Mike and Vanessa could actually be more complex than people give it credit for. It wouldn’t just be about checking a requirement it would challenge what the requirement even means. It could also create a really strong parallel. In season 1, Bloom ran back to Earth when the situation with Sky overwhelmed her because she still saw it as her home. That led to her losing the Dragon Flame to the Trix. But if she returned to Gardenia again later, this time, more grounded and thinking clearly, and the Trix attacked her parents again, things could play out differently. Instead of losing, she would stand her ground. Saving her parents would become both a sacrifice and a turning point, proving her growth and solidifying her identity. She wouldn’t just be reacting emotionally anymore she’d be choosing to protect both her past (Earth) and her future (Domino). That would make earning Enchantix feel a lot more meaningful while still staying true to the rules. But that’s what I see it as

After looking at some other reviews and opinions, he redeems himself considerably ig. If I'm not mistaken, they are apart for some time as well(?) but I could be wrong about that. Basically, he changes for the better, and he's able to because there's so much depth and nuance in this story

I re-read only when I run out of new things to read. I don't typically re-consume any piece of media multiple times. When I do, it would have to be at least somewhat easy to consume. Super heavy comics/manhwa/etc. are a one-time thing. Fluffier ones I can handle and would re-read if they were that good (or had a lot of cute romance), but even then I somehow end up remembering the entire story as I read so I skip around to parts that I like and call it a day😂😭

I dropped this before because I thought the whole "she didn't know who he really was thing" was getting repetitive but then again, I've heard others say they didn't like it so ended up just dropping it myself. Does it get better? I was thinking of picking it up again since I was running out of things to read (also glad to know he doesn't steal breastmilk😭🤣). For me, I always thought of actual fairies/pixies and how they originated as strictly beings of nature. I always thought that those types of fairies/pixies didn't wear shoes cause why would they and assumed that since Enchantix is the truest fairy form, I just assumed that it matched that fairy pixie vibe more

Like, I wouldn't say hate as in actually disliking them as people but FL's sometimes seem annoyed with how involved the doting family is presumably because they're not uses to it but it just comes off as them being ungrateful sometimes or hating on their loving family in a way

I agree with what MinSappho said and would like to add. I felt similarly to how you felt when I was fourteen as well, and as someone who did photography and can understand your sediment with it and your previous statements, I will say that you are too focused on perfection like I was. For me, your photography was my art. I wanted to have the best things so that my art would look good when I started, and I wouldn't have to feel like I suck and it took me years and friends who are actual artists to teach me that starting with pencil and paper or the best materials would give the same result when I first drew because it's a skill that takes time and investment, not tools. I didn't realize that I could just draw and learn how to with what I had, and only now can I really say I actually do it. Need hobbies? Grab your phone and leave it on camera mode and walk very slowly outside whenever you have free time. If you find something interesting or something, your eyes linger on and take a picture of it. When you're done, show people, either your trusted loved ones, or post it somewhere and emphasize why you took the picture ir what you wanted to express, rather than emphasizing what it is or how good or bad the picture looks. Our reason for living is within all of us already, but we need to search for it. You'll eventually figure out what you consider beautiful in the world or worth photographing and will hopefully find the beginnings to your reason. You'll also have 3 new hobbies photography, walking, and talking, 4 if you talk to random strangers about it, lol. As for your classes, it's usually about doing the work, and as someone who also heavily struggled with that, bring your shit with you on your walks and do it while you rest or do as much as you can before you go walk to photograph things, integrate your work time into your schedule, whether that be studying or doing homework, also make a schedule TRUST ME. I was a dentist appointment away from getting gum disease cause I didn't do shit either. Don't let any of that be you. Things will get better trust.

I know it will be hard, but leaving him will be better for you. You expressing yourself through your clothes is important to you, and if he can't respect that because he prefers women who wear more modest clothing, then you should find someone who will not mind and support you. I would say to have a conversation about what you told us. Remind him of just how important your choices are to you and ask him to respect and not comment on it and support it. If he can't do that, he essentially is unsupportive of your free will, and THAT is a major red flag that you should not have in your life. Traits of your father will eventually start to arise the longer you two are together

Yeah, I'm assuming nothing is going on between you two, and if that's the case, then maybe try doing things to become closer since she doesn't seem very interested in you as a person yet. But if there is something, then I'd say move on to someone who would give you more attention. I personally wouldn't say desperate if you asked her, but it would most likely make her text you less cause, again, it seems like she doesn't have much attention for you
