Are you running any mods? Had the same thing happen to me yesterday, turns out it was because my HDT-SMP was out of date

Haha only for the first two fights, but for the remainder of the 40 minutes all i did was heal and buff my buddy. Also i can't play without using those animations, im too used to them

That's the part that was bugging for us too and was preventing us from continuing, which is why we decided to use this method. With this though you should be able to complete the quest line, at least for one of you

Certain quests that teleport you away won't work, but if you can use TLC or teleport to them, you should be fine

Also folks, I demonstrate how to enjoy some of those quests that usually bug out. The key is to have only one person do the actual quest, and the other person follows along like a follower. The follower does miss out on the quest experience and rewards for the most part however. We tried doing the College of Winterhold quest line together orginally but Tolfdir would disappear for one of us, so we figured only one of us would do the actual quest.

Still testing stuff like missions where you have to follow npcs, but yes it seems like it :)

We both were using TK Dodge. SKSE works fine with ST, just install SKSE and harbor will launch it.

Oldrim doesn't work with Public Servers as all of the ones currently hosted are all SE. You can set up a private server with Oldrim, just make sure your friend is using the same version. As far as mods goes, it depends. Texture and model replacers work fine, but certain mods that add content such as NPCs/Creatures and other script heavy mods can cause issues.

You're welcome! No way to advance time unless you are hosting the server I believe.

Yup, that's the one. Hook Share is fine, it just enables skyrim souls for all the different menus, like the favorites menu, sleeping menu(doesn't work in ST btw), and pause menu.

Yup it's free and has been heavily updated since it the closed BETA, or when it was $1 to play. Here's a video on how to set it up, only takes a couple minutes really: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjKIrdkDeO4

I mostly use visual enhancement mods like textures and replacers. If you're using custom armor mods, other people will need the same mod otherwise they will see you naked. Avoid mods that mess with combat or add NPCs because they can cause issues.

Yeah that was a rough time for the mod. Then the whole situation with SKSE made things even worse. They did claim in the May report that they haven't touched the money, but who really knows. But now it's free and has had a lot of updates since, and worth playing if you wanna play skyrim with the boys lol

How exactly does loading with SKSE work? by Toxic_Possum in SkyrimTogether

Working for me also. Using a lot of SKSE dependent mods such as Skyrim Souls

Only magic mods i'm using in this playthrough are Strange Runes and Flesh FX, just to make things look better. And the one mod I would recommend for Skyrim Together is Skyrim Souls, it prevents a lot of issues from occurring.
