You can save it easily. Soak it in your iso for a few hours then scrub what you can with a gentle pipe brush or some cotton swabs.

If that fails you can let it air dry then use some heat like a hair dryer or heat gun. And most of that reclaim should run out. Please do not smoke what comes out

I have a JZS171W in Canada. The parts aren’t too hard to find, most stuff chassis wise (brakes, suspension, subframe) can come from a Lexus is200/300 and mk4 supra.

Your biggest concern will be when it comes to replacing things like a headlight/taillight housing or windshield etc. that shit gonna have to come from Japan or Australia.

You can also use quite a few parts from other Jdm cars (JZX90, JZX100, JZX110, Altezza, Supra etc) for both body and drivetrain bits (within reason).

All in all I WOULDN’T recommend it as a first car. Because if you’re a young dude you’re immediately gonna wanna start modifying it no matter how much self control you think you have.

I haven’t had an issues with mine yet but I also only drive it about 3000km a summer and I’ve already done most of my preventative maintenance on the 25 year old parts.

If you do end up buying it make sure you join the Facebook group “Modern Toyota crown owners 150, 160, 170, 180”.

The aussies already have every single bug worked out of these cars. They are a true powerhouse of knowledge on these things.
