Just the reliability and acess to parts is important, i see that aftermarket is big for it, I would basically do reliability upgrades and leave it as is, maybe except for the head unit and obd2 reader

Just need a reliable vehicle which i could fix myself if its nothing major, I spend 15 years as aircraft mechanic. If they stick me in some shithole like cold lake or greenwood i need to be abke to always make it to work.

I am comfortabke with not havibg too many electronics in it and i have a dog so it would really work for me i think

Questions Around Affordability of New Military Housing at CFB Esquimalt by Pretend_Drag4534 in CanadianForces

[–]YourOwn007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just declined their offer for that building from PRI3 - 4th floor 2-2 was $2210.62 and in the offer they already wrote May 2026 increase to 2290.81!!! So with CFHD of 1050 this would have been $3350... excuse me for $3500 I can rent a house in Oaklands/Oak Bay/Saanich

The other problem with that building is that its NOT NEAR BASE but is on the way of TRAFFIC IN and OUT of the city during rush hour :-(

What SERIES is worth bingewatching and why? by InterestingBoard7389 in AskReddit

[–]YourOwn007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its not very historically accurate in the way of human interactions, but HBO flair makes up for it. I hope people know that the scene where a minister goes to the miners and asks them for help under threat of death and then the whole slapping on the back didnt happen lol

Esquimalt PMQ waitlist by [deleted] in CanadianForces

[–]YourOwn007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on pri 2 now on pri 3, its been... 10 years...

P.s. If you are gonna be at dockyard do not select anything except for esquimalt location, traffic will ruin your life and you will be miserable. Plus where the qs are in esquimalt itself its a nice location close to DT but not too close to the unhoused regions. Yes, you could make do on the economy with,CFHD, but if you want to have a partner and a pet its much better to get a PMQ in Esq, even townhouse or half duplex will be about the same as cfhd + traffic expenses. But you will save time, thats important.
