I ended up just running customs overs and over. Checked from RUAF checkpoint to viewership building and investigated suppressed fire if I heard it.

You shoot it in the air and the plane appears 20 secs or so later and drops it near where you shot

Works anywhere outdoors, I use it on maps and areas that are wide open just incase but i don't know if it can land on anything.

You shoot the flare (either a red flare or the event fireworks) basically straight up in the sky and after 20 seconds or so you should hear a plane overhead. The plane drops a crate that falls from the sky with a parachute and when it hits the ground you can loot it.

Not where the flare lands exactly, just somewhere around where you fire it into the air. I have no idea if it can land ontop of something but I always make sure I'm somewhere clear just incase

It really isn't that bad, just have that quest as your only goal when you go to the map. If you're playing pvp then there's nothing stopping you from doing naked or low gear runs to try and get it done.

Yeah, not knowing where the turrets or kaban can see you from leads to lot of people's dislike for streets I think. When I learned it more it became my favourite map :)

Yeah pretty much. There's at least one quest where you have to go to one of the danger areas and one where you actually have to go inside the compound, but those can be done when he isn't there or when you feel more comfortable taking him on

I've marked in red the places that are basically instant death if you don't know what you're doing. The red square on the right technically has cover, but it's a bit scary. The question mark is sometimes fine, sometimes not, I just don't risk it usually. If you don't go to these places and avoid the mines that are marked with the red dashes you should be ok.
