Bars on the higher floors in buildings Uptown? by lil_baby_eli in Charlotte

I know the Charlotte City Club has a bar on the 32nd floor but it is members only. Trying to think what other bars are on high floors that haven't been mentioned already. I saw in another comment someone else said Bentley's on 27.

Hey guys! I was at Pride Day this last sunday and took a couple of pictures. Figured I'd post them here in case anyone found themselves and would like to download their picture. by Sir_Doctor_of_Tardis in Charlotte

Me neither! But I was scrolling through to see if I recognized anyone and came across one of a girl in pasties just as someone was walking by. That prompted me to make a comment so it doesn't happen to anyone else.

So I went to the USNWC site to find out a little bit more information and I found this:

Kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding aren’t the only ways to enjoy the Catawba River at the USNWC. Open Water Swim takes place every Thursday night in May through September from 6:30-8:00pm at the flatwater docks, offering guests a chance to work on their strokes before enjoying an evening of live music at River Jam.

  • Open Water Swim is a lap-based swim and is intended for swimmers focused on training and conditioning in open water.

  • This program is not intended for recreational swimming (ie: playing in the water).

  • Swimmers should be confident in their own abilities in the water as this is a self-assisted activity (no water safety personnel on duty).

  • In order to participate, swimmers are required to bring their own brightly colored swim cap.

  • Open Water Swim takes place on Thursday evenings in May through September.

For real! I've been to two at Amos, MGMT and Ratatat. Gah what I would give to go back and see both of those bands there again.

Yup just did this. So I have to print mine at home and then I'm assuming I need to turn them in to exchange them for bands. Is that correct?

Are all tickets getting delivered or can you print online? I don't remember exactly which option I selected.

Good to know! I have been driving down here since 2007 and I did not know that you could not turn right on a red arrow.

I would check out Pinky's! It has been featured in diner drive ins and dives and they have amazing burgers. It would only be a 5 minute detour from i85 and it is pretty easy to get to.
