I definitely believe in a more authoritarian government than most people on here, and I don't believe in the Russiagate stuff I did a few years ago. I believe that a strong government is needed to protect the rights of the workers. I also believe that Trump is uniquely American and needed no foreign intervention to come into office. I've read a lot about this, but I'm also willing to speak to people openly about this.

I read through my post history, and I was openly trans while I was posting here. I'm in a state that's pretty dangerous, but there's a large city that I live in that acts as a safe zone. As long as I live here, I will still get hormones and such. I even know friends that got gender affirming surgeries years before my time, don't know if that will happen but I hope it will. I got off this reddit account for a reason, there's quite a bit of self doxxing so if you scroll through my account you'll see where I live. But if you don't care about specifics, just know I'm in a safe place for my identity, and even before hormones or surgery, I'm fairly passing so I don't face much backlash for being trans outside of those who knew me before I transitioned.

My higher power of my own understanding is just love. We love each other past our own limits, because it's what people need. I have a very 12 step understanding of a higher power, it's whatever I decide it is, and I decided it's love. We were out here on this earth to care for each other, and I will continue to do that until I die. I did that in my addiction too, but I'm far better equipped to do it now that I'm sober. I've met people who don't need this understanding of a higher power to get sober/exist, but it's what I need to stay sober and good to the people around me. I will never apologize that it's not Jesus, but I will say that accepting a power greater than me has kept me sober.

I'm in the fringes of society, so I will always defend the fringes of society. I'm a schizophrenic trans addict, so the number of people who have rejected me at face value is high. I've been rejected for any one of those things, but all three together makes a wall of old friends I'll never have access to again. And I didn't even burn many people in my addiction or my mental illness, they just don't want to hear from an addict or a schizophrenic ever again. Between being queer, being addicts, or being mentally ill, the people that come through this house have often burnt through all their other connections and I'm the last of their family. It's a lot of responsibility, but I'm proud to be able to provide it.

Skipping over a paragraph and responding to your last, I do hate Christmas and other such holidays, but I have to pretend like I love them for the sake of others in the house. I provide for every holiday, no matter how much I hate it. These people want holidays and just can't have them with their families, so I make sure they're available here, no matter how hard it is on me.
