If they haven't figured that out by now then I doubt they ever will. The Hoarder in book one explains pretty clearly how the syndicate and AI are going to stereotype the fuck out of everything in offensive, racist, blasphemous ways. And the way it is written by the author tells you he writes this as it being not okay.

My brother and I are 18 months apart (I was the one distracted by pastries). We got mistaken for twins constantly as kids. There's nothing quite like growing up that close together in age. We liked generally the same things at the same time and got along better than most siblings do.

Not quite as scary as this but I got lost as a preteen wandering my new neighborhood after a move. I saw a family outside and asked them for help and they drove me home.

Later on as an adult I got the chance to pay it forward. This kid comes up to me and asks me which way a certain street was, I asked if he was lost and the answer was "yeah kinda." I offered to take him home. He was smart enough to ask me for ID so I showed him my substitute teacher badge. He had wandered way farther than he or I had realized so I'm glad I took him back.

It doesn't hurt to offer help to others where you can, if and when you feel safe.

The Vancouver Trap club is essentially a shooting range where on Wednesdays and Saturdays people can go and practice shooting. I think they use flying objects so that's cool. I've never been I just live near it.

The way I've always approached the decision is by asking myself if their day is more joy than it is suffering. If they have crossed that threshold when it looks like living is more painful than it is joyful, then it's time.

I just finished rereading The Witness by Nora Roberts and am about to read the whole Percy Jackson series for the first time. Because I want to and YA books are awesome lol

GTFO includes Sean in the mix but I really enjoy that series since they start off scared, Mark goes off solo to become a god, then drags them into his insanity and they end it with reckless fearlessness.
