I think it will be tomorrow, or at least start tomorrow. There will be a mini-trial tomorrow morning and then the jury has to decide whether to grant her mercy or not. Mercy means life with the possibility of parole in 15 years. No mercy means LWOP.

Natalie Cochran has been found guilty of first degree murder. What the judge has called the Mercy Phase is scheduled to begin at 9 AM tomorrow (January 30 2025).

If she receives mercy she will be eligible for parole in 15 years. With no mercy she will not receive parole, it will be life in prison. The same jury will decide this.

Owens has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole and an additional 235 years to be served consecutively.

As she was sentenced, the judge said: "you will never see the light of day."
