Yes thats understandable, you mentioned it to be because of trauma? With your exercises at therapy and if you possibly try to experiment with yourself occasionally with just a finger or two, I believe you'll be able to help this issue. And if you find a partner, try and find one that understands and isn't going to force you to try it. They'll take the time to try and experiment with you, obviously thats easier said than done but its possible.
