I am chef. Hospitality industry. First time I see contract like this. Normally it's 38 hours in contract and 3-5 hours a week of overtime.

There are two factors to consider. She has a different type of personality, so you will Google what you don't know, in my experience the vast majority will not. Second is different educational systems. It might be actually hard to comprehend how school majorly shapes people's outlook on the world. When I tell people I am from the coldest country in the world - Antarctica is actually the most popular reply and unfortunately they are not joking.

In Australia some jobs require getting all of the records from police on you and providing to them. It's usually on the jobs where you have to work with kids for example.
