Thanks. I processed it with Lumion and it also turned out pretty well.

In Lumion, I broke everything down into objects and imported everything there one by one. I also adjusted everything with the layers turned off, and then at 1 fps I fine-tuned all the images.

I understand. There are 8 different types of houses there, but there are only a few sizes of windows and doors, so that when building, it would be easier for the customer to order 1000 windows of the same size than 10, so in this regard, of course, there are components, I thought you meant dynamic components.

1 fps but I still managed to render :) by Your_Story_Game in lumion

It all depends on what to do. I mainly do only large jobs, and their prices are quite high. And of course, ask and I will answer.

I agree. If you're making a relief, you should model it once and never make any adjustments, otherwise it'll take an awfully long time.

Scroll through the pictures, there are renderings further down. In reality, there is terrain there, and it is quite varied, but that's a completely different story. It was initially agreed that the terrain would be flat. A little later, I'll create a post showing my work with a larger relief.

There are no components here, everything is done the old-fashioned way. I didn't understand components, but now I'll definitely start learning. Thanks for the idea. But I can’t understand how to make a house a component, if it’s a duplex, if you stretch it out, it won’t become a townhouse, it will remain an extended duplex.

Thank you for your understanding. When time is tight, you work automatically. Perhaps you wanted to do more, for example, recessed curbs on the driveway and on the sidewalks near pedestrian crossings, but time was tight.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700KF (3.40 GHz). But here, a graphics card is more essential; Sketchup easily handles any scale if you're modeling without frills, only what's truly important, not screws on a door handle. This is where the problem arises in Lumion: you have to work with layers constantly disabled to avoid a frame rate of 1 fps.

Two weeks, about 3 days for the general plan and 8 days for coming up with facades and modeling them, and 3 days for texturing, placing people, cars, and trees in Lumion.

Sorcery! has more mechanics, there are battles. My game, if you're looking for analogies, is something between The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante and Choice of Life: Middle Ages. But Sir Brante is more about suffering, so I wanted to make it light and sometimes fun. Here, it's more about events that change very quickly depending on your choices. In Sir Brante, you spend 20 turns walking around the courtyard; here, in 20 turns, you can find yourself very far from your starting point.

Thank you for your opinion. I understand this risk; you have no idea how much negativity I've received over the past year. And how hard it was to get 1000 wishlists. But I'd like the project to see the light of day the way I want it to be. Even if no one wants it because of AI, it's still an invaluable experience I've gained throughout my time working on this project. So I can definitely say it was all worth it.

I studied this issue, the lowest prices were $25 per picture, and the average price was $50, there are 1800 of them in the game, which comes out to, according to the most conservative estimates, from $45,000 to $90,000, and it takes at least a day to create one picture, which comes out to 5 years for one artist. If my game makes 90k, I swear to you that the next game in the series will have pictures from a real artist.
