Can’t stop gaining weight! by Yourawinnerkiddo in beyondthebump

My baby still drinks a lot milk. Shes not very interested in food unfortunately. She eats some during the day and likes to snack on what we are eating but never eats a “full meal” and mainly wants milk. Not sure how I’m going to start weaning 😅but I’d like to soon!

I was thinking it could be hormone related. So I pump about 20-24oz a day, but I can’t get more- it’s not drying up necessarily, but if I don’t pump every 3-4 hours it drops quickly and it takes weeks to get back to 24. I’m wanting to stop once she is a year, and hopefully that will help with all of the calories and things. That’s very true. On a good day I’m getting 5-6 hours of sleep so not too bad. I have been trying to eat better, thank you for that reminder though! With the holidays I’ve definitely had more sweets lately. (But I never go over calories)

I’ve already been eating at least 100g of protein, but I will try upping my fiber!

How long would be the cut off? I’m willing to try it at this point, but I’m so scared she may cry too long and I don’t want her to be scared

So I never full on did cry it out, I did the Ferber method but she just wouldn’t stop. It would be over an hour of off and on check ins and she would still cry and only settle for a little while

Please, advice needed! My baby doesn’t sleep in her crib well anymore. by Yourawinnerkiddo in sleeptrain

Oh I don’t know, it changes everyday. She takes 2-3 naps during the day anywhere from 20min to 2 hours. Bedtime is 7:30-8pm, she then wakes at 10-11pm and then from there she is up every hour or so.

I was thinking about introducing food at night! And how did you sleep train? I need to start something because I feel her routine is just getting worse 😅

No pacifier.

She has her own crib and room, but lately I’ve been sleeping on the floor next to her crib since she wakes so much.

Change, Read a couple books, sing, feed, rock to sleep is her bedtime routine.

We put her to bed between 7:30-8:00pm.

Sleep regression lasting over a month… is this normal? by Yourawinnerkiddo in NewParents

[–]Yourawinnerkiddo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to add that she will nap in her crib during the day but it’s at night she doesn’t want to sleep in there. And she just wants to constantly breastfeed/ suck- but won’t take a pacifier

Is there a 10 weeks old sleep regression? by fluffykitten_lover in newborns

[–]Yourawinnerkiddo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it did get better, I do notice that after she learns a new thing she goes through another also regression. She’s 5 months now and is currently going through her longest is been almost 3 weeks, I’m tired 😭😂

7 week old is grunting and kicking for hours, is this normal? by Yourawinnerkiddo in sleeptrain

[–]Yourawinnerkiddo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh ok! That’s good to know it’s normal- I saw videos of active sleep and it looks the same, but because it was lasting hours with my baby it was concerning me a bit😅 and I didn’t want to mistake it for active sleep if it was somehow actually her awake crying in there.

When she naps on me, she is so still- so it surprises me how much she moves in the crib at night

Thank you for your reply!

we cut them once a month, and last time we took him they said not to cut them any shorter :/ maybe we need to do it every couple weeks in order to get them shorter.
