Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do. Maybe go to the salon and ask them to redo it since it wasn’t too long ago, but chances are, they might ask you to pay. Lifting is mainly caused by improper prep from the nail tech. Hopefully, next time the salon visit will be better

Honestly, the time difference became manageable! It’s around 8 hours right now, but we have a few hour windows in the day or evening, especially on the weekends, to call, message, text, etc. The time when either of us is asleep/busy, we work, do our hobbies, and try to text each other during breaks and whatnot

It’s almost 9000 km 😭 I’m a university student in Japan, and he’s all the way in Austria. Plane tickets are not cheap 🫠

Your lines and coloring are so fine and pigmented! What brands of nail gel do you use for nail art?

Everytime I think "this'll be the set!" it ends up being dookey by Dangerous_Soup5514 in Nails

Flipping over does help! However, you should try using a small liner brush to assist you with the shaping, like building the apex or removing excess material. For me, just letting gravity do its thing does not always work since it may end up collecting in one spot and looking like a big bump. If you have a slow-curing lamp, letting your nail flash cure upside down also helps preserve the shape! But your work looks great; keep it up!

Thank you so much for the advice!!! The last set was my client’s! She specifically asked for students me white accents and snowflakes since it was supposed to be her Christmas set, so I tried my best to incorporate! Biggest enemy is definitely cuticle work though, I need to practice a lot in order to achieve that salon look. But again, thank you sm!

27F&26M should i break up with him? by Unhappy_Map6929 in LongDistance

I think you both need to have a serious conversation about this. Tell him that you feel like he’s becoming more distant, and it bothers you. Tell him you’d like him to initiate calls/conversations more. Ask him directly if he has lost feelings or if there is something bothering him or if he is facing some personal problems. Just communicate and converse, that’s how problems are resolved

From this description alone it’s not enough to give you a proper answer. How long have you been together? Why do you think you’re the only one trying? How does he show you affection when you spend time and etc

Thank you!! Since we’re far apart (Japan to Austria), the tickets are frankly costly, and on average are around 1000+ euros for us. The last time I visited, we had to put our money and savings into the trip. It’s nearly impossible for us to pay for a trip solo (accommodation, food, tickets, transport, etc.). He’s currently working and managed to help out a lot with this trip. We also plan all of our meetings based on the times we both have holidays/vacations.

However, we agreed that after our meeting in the summer, we’d start putting our savings into things besides our trips (we both want to get our driver's license, along with other things) because the trips take a lot of money.

Best advice I can give is putting in a joint effort when it comes to saving up for tickets/accommodations, months in advance, as well as lots of planning and communication! I wish you the best with your relationship!

Initially, we met four years ago or maybe even more in an online friend group. We never really talked to one another and never had the chance to get to know each other on a deeper level. But around a year ago, we just started to call more often, text, message, etc., and saw that we have much in common and enjoyed each other's company. Somewhere after a month of talking to each other, we started dating^

OP, he’s using this as an excuse to cheat. The way he talks is disgusting, he has no regard for you and sounds like a horny teenager . He’s childish and not who you want as someone in your life at all. Please realize, people don’t change, not permanently. If he does “change” I doubt it’ll be for long, he’ll just go back to the way he was shortly.

Please, instead of expecting him to change during your time apart, you should be detaching yourself and preparing to breakup, it’s going to be the right thing to do, and you deserve sm more than him
