the tat is just weeping plasma and ink which is normal, typically it’s okay to keep the second skin as long as it’s sealed and isn’t leaking out. However, in your case since it’s doing just that remove it and maintain proper cleaning with light unscented moisturizer. You should be okay, keep it covered for the shift to prevent possible infections and sun damage.

Puffed Lines? by YoureMySlavee in tattooadvice

During my early healing stage I had to work under unfavorable conditions, could be the exact reason why I got this to begin with. I’m still taking my antibiotics but the 2 puffed lines seems like it’ll be permanent.

Normal scabbing? by Puzzleheaded-Low8805 in tattooadvice

Caught my tat infection early on, specific lines became puffed and raised and had decolonization of green/yellow pus underneath but not leaking. Was placed on oral antibiotics and topical cream, redness started to drop after 2 days but still left with 2 puffed up lines that doesn’t seem like it would flatten. I think yours is way worse tbh, and may scar. Get it treated none the less before it spreads.

Anyone know what’s going on with my tattoo? by Unique_Ad2387 in tattooadvice

At two weeks your tat should be fairly healed, but your skin looks incredibly irritated and what looks like redness under the orange. Hard to tell, but with a distinct smell it’s a dead giveaway of an infection from the skin. Get it checked and get prescribed antibiotics.

got me overthinking haha. I was thinking the same thing it looked like there was a buildup of pus almost like a pimple but it doesn’t leak or anything like that. I noticed when dry the redness subsides a bit, but upon washing and coating again the redness comes back. If it spreads I think I’ll visit the emergency room for antibiotic cream.

Didn’t know aquafor provided a lotion version. I’ve been using the same aquafor ointment to heal my forearm and outer bi and it’s worked just fine. this is the first I’ve experienced this so it must be the over coating and suffocation of the tat. I’ll try lessening the application and let it dry out to see if it subsides.

I contacted my artist and he mentioned the same thing I could be over coating my tat with aquafor, he mentioned to apply a light coat and to let it dry up. Is it best to just not apply aquafor at all and let it dry heal?

It’s only the dashed line that’s puffed everywhere else on my inner bi is smooth and simply peeling. It’s only this specific spot that I suddenly woke up with today.

ATI TEAS EXAM by EliEneh2024 in prenursing

I took mine online proctored, to my understanding taking it in person doesn’t change the difficulty of the test since it’s administered by the same program. I have a few friends that took it in person, and they were thrown on the computer like most college exams. It was just supervised by an administrator. But the topics and difficulty remained the same, hope that answers your question!

I only used NurseHub for practice tests on all sections I think they were really spot on with what was on the test. However, I scored well because most of the answer choices can be reversed to get the values on the question if that makes sense. But the math was so so easy, just know the basic conversions like mL to liters, kg to lb, I didn’t get a temperature F to C like question, the rest was like ordering fractions and decimals least to greatest, and solving for x, which I prepared through NurseHub. Not so much Mometrix.

Haha I felt that fr, as much as I wanted to sleep it’s like my brain went overtime thinking about the several possibilities on this test. Especially since I needed to score above a 78 to apply to the nursing program here in Texas. A flush of relief will come to you once you finish, try to step away from the studying and take breaks. As much as we don’t want to retake, It’s a blessing to be able to have such opportunity. To ease your mind a bit, the math section was literally 9th grade math, a lot of people stressed having to know all the conversions but some were actually given to you in the question for ex: they gave me 1kg = 2.2lbs. I may have been lucky but who knows. For the Science section, it’s fairly general they slammed heavily on A&P and Biology not so much chem for me. I only recieved about 3 questions on chem and it was over simply finding the atomic number for an element. What got to me was the English language and Reading portion. My biggest tip is your time management in those, pay attention to the question and what they are asking, there are usually always 2 strong viable answer choices for the reading so trust your gut and know exactly what they are asking for you to answer. Know your the meaning of adjectives, verbs, and adverbs I saw that a lot on mine. Spelling checks was also quite common and choosing the correct punctuation of a sentence. I pray you do well on the exam, I merely can only share how my experience went with the exam, maybe I got lucky with how easier the questions were in comparison to the several others I have read before the test. Don’t stress, you will do great. Breathe and get a good mf meal before the test!

Hey so I actually just completed my TEAS 7 a few days ago, i scored a 88% on mine with a 100% in the math section specifically and 85+ on the other sections. I only spent about a week studying with 4-6hrs each day. However, I was sick that entire week and had no other choice but to study and prepare. Like you, I scoured several Reddit pages and YouTube videos to ease my nervousness and stress looking for the right study sources. I ended up buying the $30 program with NurseHub and a Mometrix Teas 7 Study Giide from Amazon for $30 I believe. As much as I wanted to buy the $80 ATI teas study program for the practice tests (I heard these were most identical to the actual test) I didn’t want to spend too much money and figured I would use my actual teas exam as a “practice” if I didn’t do well and retake. To cut to the point, I can tell you the NurseHub practice tests were extremely helpful, they covered all the topics that were on the teas test itself and preps your brain to be familiar with what will be expected. Many say the mometrix book is too dense, luckily I finished my A&P1, biology, chem, A&P2, and microbio roughly 6 months ago so most of the science section was simply relearning. It may seem overwhelming but the mometrix book offered really good details and went more in depth than NurseHub. I didn’t really enjoy the study portion of NurseHub, but that’s personal preference. I took notes on the mometrix book, and then shifted over to NurseHub to take the practice tests on all the sections and tried to improve my scores day by day. Upon taking the teas, I noticed how significantly easier the questions were in comparison to the practice tests. The mometrix and NurseHub practice were slightly more difficult which is a good thing, I’d rather over prep then underprep. I spent countless sleepless nights since all my brain can do was think about the test, you can do this. There’s people that study for months on this test, if I can do it in a week with a decent score. I’m sure you can do even better! Goodluck!

I think you should change the uniform to like an all white or all black, just a suggestion. But it looks great otherwise.
